Bit revealing - yes, but she's totally badass so I don't care!

Tifa is AWESOME! :3 I have a few cosplays in mind, but I've always loved Yuna's outfit from FFX-2

And perhaps I'll cosplay as a female Ezio from Assassin's Creed II at some point (during a cooler con!)

Cosplaying is basically like fancy dress, except you replicate the outfit of a character from an Anime, Video Game, Comic etc. When there are conventions for video games or general nerding activities cosplayers come out to play and show up in their outfits.

Some of them are truly impressive, as obviously the original outfits are supposed to be a bit out there, so seeing how people make it into a reality can be fascinating.

But it can also lead to some terrible results too...

I have three clothing goals for weight loss.

1. Shorts!
I haven't worn shorts in public for YEARS. Because of the weight I've gained from, oh, junior year in high school, wearing shorts = chub rub and bunching. Not attractive or comfortable.

2. LBD
I have a specific dress that I would love to be able to rock again. It fit amazingly when I was around 155, but I'm at 181 now, and it doesn't exactly look the same. I've tried to give away/sell most of the clothing I have that doesn't fit, so I can just reward myself with new clothes when I lose weight, but I've hung onto this dress!

3. Bikini
I have never worn a bikini in my life! When I was younger/thinner, I didn't have the confidence. Now that I'm older and heavier, I have the confidence, but not the body! Hopefully, by next summer...

Riestrella -- I've always wanted to cosplay as Tifa as well, but her usual getup requires a much fitter body than mine at the moment. Wouldn't want to show up in any pictures of "cosplay failures." Though I don't really do conventions, so "cosplay" would really just be Halloween costume for me.

sontaikle - I love that outfit too! I remember trying to replicate it with my own clothes when I was younger and the promo images started to come out for that game!

firefoxy - Oh, I've never been to a convention in my life, but I'm sure it's a giant ego boost since there'll be a bunch of nerds oogling you like you're a goddess!
I have a LBD that I bought in my first year at Uni that I'm dying to fit into. I've never ever worn it because I've always been too big, but I'm hoping that it will fit me perfectly when I'm at my goal weight!

Cute dress, Riestrella!

I have to admit, one of my goals is to lose weight, get toned, and then go to Comic Con in cosplay specifically for the ego boost. Haha

I have 2 pair of jeans that I am dying to fit into. I bought both years ago on clearance for like $3 from Old Navy. I've never fit into either of them.

Also, shopping at White House/Black Market and The Loft are thinspiration for me. I don't care if it's the biggest size they sell... I just want to walk into those stores and not feel self-conscious because I don't fit in the clothes. I want to grab something off the rack and prance into the fitting room then up to the register. Man that would be nice.
