Default Should I try one day of eating more? I'm nervous!!!

OK, my weight has been plateauing...even rising this week. I suspect that it is weight retention. Its a bit of a bummer, I wouldn't mind it if it did not change, but to RISE is just sad. I've been eating generally well, my cal intake has been slightly higher, by like 100 cals or so, but not 3,500 excess cals-not enough to do a 1.5-4 lb jump, and cook most of my food, so I'm pretty good about the cal intake. So I read that dieting can cause water retention, and a way to deal with that is to have 1 day of eating more. I am nervous though, I must admit, what if it causes me to gain? What if it causes a billion cal binge? However, I would like to see some weight change >_<
Someone hold me! lol
