Hi! Semi-New!

  • Hi! So I joined a while ago, posted a bit, and then weight loss kinda fell to the wayside. I guess it wasn't a priority to me and I didn't have the motivation for it.

    Well things have changed, I joined Weight Watchers at the beginning of the week and have already lost 2 pounds. Go me! I realized that I have no reason to be overweight and I need to lose this fat while I am younger because it will get harder as I get older.

    Anyway, my name is Kaitlyn and I am 21 years old. Just thought I would make an introduction hoping that this message board will give me some extra accountability.

    I have been eating pretty good this week. I found an awesome blog with amazing WW recipes. I have had a hard time eating all my points.. I guess it's because I haven't been eating unhealthy snacks like I was. I was even able to resist cake and cheez-its! haha. So today was my first time going over my points. I only went over by 1 and I feel so stuffed and miserable. I worked weird hours last night and mid-day today so it really threw off my eating. Ugh.

    Ok, so off my rambling. I just wanted to say hi and look forward to talking to you guys later!!

    I'm a WW member, too. I know what you mean about not being able to eat all the points. It's funny, before I could eat piles and piles of crapfood. But, the second I start choosing better...I'm fuller at a lower amount. It's like magic! Not really, I know the better foods have fiber and good protein and fats in them. Just fun to know I can still be satisfied and eating less.

    Anywho, keep at it and keep coming back!
