Default Anyone uh...grumpy on a diet?

I keep reading about how a healthy diet stabilizes and elevates my mood, but I have to admit...at times I get stressed out about things in my life and maybe its because I am used to coming home to so much junk food afterwards, and now I am not-I'm snacking on healthy foods, so its taking some getting used to. I feel like I'm getting grumpy more easily lol >_<
Is this weird?
I never used food as a direct way to deal with problems, I never ate while crying over a heartbreak or bad grades, but I guess I used it as an "up" to deal with everyday stresses ha!

In my experience, the first few weeks are really tough. Once your body gets use to the lower calories and low-sugar thing you will feel better, I promise.

Assuming, of course, your calories aren't too low. If you keep feeling like crap, that might be your problem.

oh yesssss, this does happen, it is weird how we don't think we are using food to cope but we really can be. I have in the past turned into a different person...... not a nice one!

I definitely know what you mean. For me, the best thing was exercising. It perks up my mood and energy and relieves stress, making me far less grumpy.
