Okay, so I'm a 22 year old mother of two toddlers, who works p/t and is about to start school p/t. I was 118 pre-babies, and now just cannot get below 155. I need help planning a plan! I hardly ever have time to eat properly, so it usually ends up with me not eating all day and then waaay too much after the girlies go to bed. I dont have the enthusiasm to exercise, but to be hnest I have the time both of my girls take a simultaneous 2 hour nap a day, I usually nap then also. I know to start losing the weight I need to have a plan, I jus dont know ho to go about it. It's very expensive to be ona diet also, so a budget friendly one please, and skin tightening exercises, if ya know what I mean( no moolah for tummy tucks here!). Just need some tips or advice thanks
Hello there, dieting dosent have to cost much. If money is an issue, just have smaller portions. Invest in a food weighing scales so that way if you are having pasta, you can weigh out a smaller portion for yourself.
To tighten your tummy, buy your girls a hoola-hup. Believe it or not a hoola-hup is great for your waist!
Calorie counting is free! And I completely agree with getting a food scale and some extra sets of measuring cups for food. If you have smaller plates, take advantage of one of those also. (I have been using a smaller plate since I started in November and it's working).
Did you know 1 serving of meat is 4 oz? 1 serving of pasta is 1 cup (2 oz uncooked)? 1 serving of salad dressing is 1-2 Tbsp? 1 serving of peanut butter is 1 Tbsp? 1 serving of wine is 4 oz! Get to know portion size and love it!
I agree dieting doesn't have to be expensive,stay away from prepared foods. They are the most expensive and are usually loaded with sodium.Watch the store for specials and try to build your menus around that, using fresh wholesome food.
Dieting doesn't have to be expensive at all. Frozen veggies have just as much nutrients as fresh veggies do (steam them) and they last longer, theres more in the bag and sometimes they are cheaper. Not everything has to be organic either. I don't eat anything organic and have managed to lose a ton of weight, not to mention I eat white bread, white pasta and white rice. (I know white anything is bad because it's bleached for those about to preach lol) but the point I'm trying to make is things can be substituded like by oranges in bulk, apples any kind of fruit you can get in a bag. As some people go by, count calories, make meals (pre-plan for the week cook them on a day you have to yourself, froze them and that way during the week you can take them out of the freezer and cook it that day so you don't find yourself wondering what to eat and choosing something unhealthy.) Find sales, use cupons and so on, also get daily workouts in as well Water is free make water your bestfriend.
Prepare things ahead of time. While your girls are napping, grill up some chicken breasts to throw in the fridge, then when you get hungry just grab one and warm it up.
Stop napping when they nap and take advantage of that time. Research healthy recipes (I love spark recipes . com), invest in some work out videos or use youtube.
Take the kids for walks each day.
I absolutely love the Birdseye Steamfresh vegetables (store brands work too.) They are usually on sale and you just pop them in the microwave for 5 minutes.
