  • So I need a hobbie, or a bunch of hobbies...to start keeping myself busy.

What do you guys do for hobbies?
  • Big video gamer. For the more physical type, maybe Paintball if you haven't tried that before. It's a little pricey for an every day hobby but you can get a lot of physical exercise out of it too.

  • I like video games...I think I should buy dead risen for Ps3 this weekend and just kill some zombies. haha.
  • I'd love to try paintballing!!! I think that would be really funn.. I don't have any hobbies iether and I really need to get one. My fiance does hunting. and so in the spring and the fall he's gone almost every weekend and he tells me constnatly I need to find something to do that I enjoy so that I wont be bugging him constantly. I used to bake but that's difficult because then I want to eat everything I've made.

You could make like walking a hobby. I don't know if you have any dogs or children. or you can borrow either. haha I can't wait to see what others say..
  • Baking! I totally want to get into baking different types of cakes, kind of like my sister did for a while which looked amazing. But I don't have a stove, or an oven so until I can afford a higher price place that hobbie is out of the question...

As for paintballing yep that would be fun...but I'm poor haha.
  • This is gonna be a big cluster**** of weird stuff [I can't help it, I like it weird]:

knitting, painting, reading, paintball, jewelery making, making lip balm, video games.
  • I was telling a friend the other day that I want to take up sewing and gardening after I graduate next year. Right now, I'm really enjoying cooking!
  • I am fairly "crafty" so most of my hobbies are related to that: I sew, paint, draw, papercrafts, quilt. Trying my hand at interior design since I'm redoing most of the house with BF is away. I read, go for walks. I'd like to take up biking.

What about letterboxing? It's fun and gets you outdoors (http://www.letterboxing.org/)

I love to bake! Bad hobby though, because I also love to EAT what I bake! :P
  • I like to read but I dont feel like I ever have time anymore
  • It took me a long time to figure out, but my hobby is picking up hobbies. I'm constantly switching up what my focus is going to be when I finish a project.

Right now my rotation consists of: learning to sew (helps to start with a class), crochet afghans, reading and video games.

When it's warmer I'll be adding gardening, tennis, and biking to the list.
  • What about like, religion. It can really take up as much or as little time as you want, and you can take your pick at what gets you thinking. Its free, its interesting, and can even be fulfilling.
  • Video games, reading books or comics, drawing, airsoft and eventually archery. I also love to go hiking, but I don't get to do so as much as I'd like to.
  • I Love to read, Scrapbooking is always a good time (digitally online too). I also adore Makeup, I am a Freelace MA on the side and I love it! I am a Crafty gal and anything that has to do with ART is my kinda thing! I also love to Bake, Graphic Design, Decorate and get on Facebook (My Addiction) LOL oh yeah and SHOPPING!
  • Sounds like money is tight so "shopping" might not be the best suggestion.

Do you have anyone you like a lot with a birthday or something coming up? I am totally not the domestic type and I'd rather kill myself than knit or crochet anything, but I got very very very zealously obsessed with scrapbooking and made a really nice one for someone as a gift. Basically any kind of project that you can work on for a couple hours a day makes an awesome hobby.

Cleaning/organizing things like music files on your computer, your closets, etc can be time consuming too.
  • reading, knitting/crocheting, video games, hiking/sightseeing depending on where you live, geocaching
