Scratch my previous post. I found out my scale at the gym put my current weight 4lbs higher than the one at home. So, my starting weight was 4lbs higher also. Anyhow, I lost another 2lbs - which puts me at a total loss of 6.6lbs in a week - if I continue like this, I'll be out of the 150s by next week! :D

Hi everyone, I'm (obviously) new to this thread! I hit 159.0 this morning!

LiLLy19 07-16-2011 03:46 PM

Im returning to this thread from a long hiatus :)) Hopefully the next time I hit a plateau I can stick with posting. Im pretty sure most of the people who were in this thread from the last time I was here have moved on but Im excited to continue this journey with the rest of you who are here :)

I unfortunately let myself slack for a good two weeks- this morning I Weighed in at 154.4... glad it's not higher, but I definitely need to get myself back in gear. Good luck to you ladies!

LiLLy19 07-18-2011 01:05 PM

Elizabethyellow - I have an issue with slacking too..especially on weekends. So you're not alone! 154 isn't too bad, you'll get back down in no time :)) Good luck to you too

I think i got the 150's curse.. more specifically the 150 curse since for the past few weeks i go from 151-149 i didnt have the best week diet-wise, hopefully me 'messing up' for a weekend will help my body jumpstart to get back into losing... but i guess if you stay on plan your body has no choice but to lose lbs/inches eventually lol

I think my plateau is really broken now!! I am so excited. Actually I was having a hard time believing the scale when I was 152 last week but this week it says 151.0! Ahhh I can't believe I was stuck for so long. Now I can move onwards with this weight loss thing

philana 07-23-2011 11:39 AM

I'm so glad to be at 147.7lbs! Only 8 more lbs to get below the 140 - while I was near the 160s when I started!

LiLLy19 07-25-2011 01:22 PM

Hi guys! I'm back! My name is Liz, and I joined 3FC years ago, but have been off and on diets (mostly off) for like 2 years. I weighed in yesterday at 154, and began my diet. Got on the scale this morning, and i'm down to 152 already (haha sike, i know it's just water weight). I'm coming back though because I feel that I'm at a MUCH better place in my life in terms of overall happiness. I know that I am an emotional eater, so I feel that I am more likely to have success in my diet at this point in my life. :) I now have a boyfriend who I've been dating for just over 6 months who loves me no matter what I look like, so that whole "weight loss for a boy" factor is gone! (And yes, I was guilty of having that be one of my reasons for wanting to lose weight. Fail? :-/ ) At this point, I feel that I really want to lose weight for better reasons. I want to feel good about myself, and have increased self confidence. In terms of long term goals, I want to be able to run a half marathon, and perhaps having a lower BMI will help my attitude towards training? I got down to like, 145.5 lbs in January from 155 lbs, and like I said, I basically gained all of it back. So here I am now! I look forward to getting to know all of you. Thank you already for your support :)

151.8 this morning. Last time I weighed that was June 10th before I went totally off the rails. If it sticks, that will be a 20% weight loss :)

Pinkberrry 07-26-2011 02:50 PM

Weigh in for me is tomorrow..I'm hoping to see some results since I've eaten pretty much on plan since last Sunday.

LiLLy19 07-26-2011 05:24 PM

lifehouseluver - you have some great goals in mind and the best way to lose weight is when you're doing it for yourself! Sounds like you are off to a great start :)) Keep it up!

popspry - yay for a great weigh in!! :))

Pinkberry - keep up posted! Your username is making me crave pinkberry now :) Yummy

:D Hi everyone. I was wondering if this thread is open to newcomers? If so, I'm at 150 right now and dying to get into the 140s (so I can get out of them!!!!). I admit I didn't read the entire 26 pages of this thread, but I did read the first and last and this seems like a good place for me to share in the frustrations of being stuck in a certain weight range (150s for me). Thanks guys.

LiLLy19 07-26-2011 06:46 PM

sniperhil - newcomers are always welcome!! Like you I have been stuck in the 150s for way too long so I cannot wait to move to the 140s. Stick around and we can get through it together
