  • I love that in New Zealand, you don't have to have a weight on your license. Like, it's not even an option haha. I would hate it if it was!
  • My driver's license tells the truth now actually it's 5 pounds OVER!!
  • I live in TX and they don't make you list weight. I got my license in NY, I don't think we had to there either. Thank goodness!
  • Mine says 145 - I think my learner's permit said 135. It WAS accurate when I was in sports but hadn't been for several years. Happily as of today its only off by SIX pounds. DL weight is my first mini-goal.
  • My DL weight says 205, so that puts me as about 60 lbs lighter that what I am currently. When I first filled it in, I was much closer to that weight - maybe 5-10 lbs over. I've never bothered changing it, because I always had the mentality "Well, why change it up when I'm going to lose all this weight and have to change it all over again?" (Trying to think positive obviously, lol.) So, I will probably wait to go through the hassle of officially changing it when I'm at my goal or near enough to it. So, I guess I can consider that one of my personal goals now, too!
  • Mine says 160 I believe and I am now 145.....yay! I want to go get mine redone actually to reflect my new weight and thinner face. I have had many cashiers look at my license and then to me and back again and then make a comment about how I must have lost weight.
  • Mine says 205, which was true when I got it. I was quite happy to put that number on it, tbh. But, now it's much too high
  • We don't have to do that here...

Out of curiosity why do you have to?
  • Mine says 100 pounds. I thought the whole thing was fascist so I gave them a BS number. Hilarious when I get pulled over
  • Hahaha we no longer have weights on our license's BUT, I remember being 16 and putting 135 as my weight, what a crazy person I was because that was NOT my weight. I was about 145. It's sad that even at 16 I knew to lie about my weight =(

But YES!!! 135 is now my goal weight. =) Fingers crossed I no longer feel the need to lie about my weight.
  • I think they do as a physical descriptor, same as with height, eye color, hair color, etc.
  • Mine says 240, which I thought was truthful at the time, but I actually weighed 260 at the time
However, its still 240 and I think I'm 20lbs under that atm
  • My old weight said 190 which I think I'm under now (I was over 250 when I put that!!!) I put my new weight as 160 when I just renewed it a few weeks ago. *shrug*
  • I think they make us put our weights for better identification purposes. Or to humiliate us. Probably the latter.
