Has anyone else found that there's been a drastic change in their body shape as they lose weight? I used to carry a lot of my extra weight in my stomach (and still do!), but I looked in the mirror this morning, and I realized I was looking more like and hour glass.
I def notice a shape in mine. It's not from just losing weight though I don't think. Mine is from the exercise and weight training. I have knees again and beautiful beautiful calves! My arms have tone and it's not just fat.
Where I used to look like I had cellulite it is now toned up a LOT. It's crazy but I love it!
I always had a defined waist even though I was fat all over...however I now have a very hour glass figure but my hips are still outrageously large in my opinion... I'm working on it
I already know that when I lose the bulk of the weight, that my top half will shrink and my hips will become far more noticeable and defined. When I was at normal-ish weights in the past I had 'child bearing hips'. It was one of the things I hated about myself in my teens--I would always receive comments and attention directed toward my large hips and would try to hide them as much as possible. The ONLY plus about gaining 100+ lbs since then was that my top half grew in proportion with my hips so they aren't as noticeable.
I'm not looking forward to the return of the 'child bearing hips' but I'm not as self conscious in my twenties as I was in high school. I'd rather have bigger hips on a slim body than be fat all over like I am now.
I hope I can say the same, but for now, I am just a smaller fat person. My body looks the same, distribution looks the same, too. The fat just looks somewhat "deflated."
I always had an hour glass figure. My waist has always been pretty defined. However now i've lost some weight it all seems to be going from my top half and i'm slowly morphing into pear. I'm hoping with more weightloss my back end will catch up.
