I moved in the spring and couldn't work out with my trainer any longer. He recommended P90X. I loved it, until I hyperextended my elbow. I only did it for a week and a half, but could already tell a difference. It takes a big time committment, though, because it is sixty to ninety minutes per day. I am doing Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, then I will probably start p90X again. PM me if you have any questions!

I do the lean program but don't follow the nutrition plan, because I am a calorie counter. I do it faithfully except all of the yoga. I also walk 4-6 miles 4-5 times a week. I can't do any chin-ups or all of the push-ups, but I am getting stronger. Don't be discouraged the first month or even the second. I plan on doing two rounds of P90X to lose weight and get healthy. I completely recommend it and wouldn't worry about bulking up.

My friend tried it and said the first two times she did it she threw up... :x Not sure if this is common in anyway.. She is just a little thing, probably size 2-4..

I've been looking into this lately and I'm planning on getting it, but I'm working my way up to it because I've heard it's so intense.
I'm planning on doing 30 Day Shred, then Power 90, and then P90X. That way I work myself up to the P90X and in the mean time save up some money for it as well. |
