NSV! Ring size
I have lost a ring size! My wedding ring is a 6.5 and its really loose now so I re-measured my finger and I'm now a 5.5. YAY!
Anyone else? |
Sort of. A size six ring used to have to be coaxed onto my finger and was tight when it got there, so I was probably a 6.5, and now it goes on pretty easily and fits.
And can somebody tell me what NSV stands for? I get the gist of what it means, I just have no clue what the letters stand for :) |
Non scale victory (I had to ask too!)
yeah that happened to me too! My boyfriend got me a promise ring 2 years ago, and it's a 4.75. It's very loose on my left ring finger, so I've been wearing it on my right ring finger but that's getting loose now too. So I went to see how much it would be to get it resized, and my ring size is now a 4! I know I've always had small fingers, but that's crazy!
All of my rings are too big for me - I have had to rotate fingers and start wearing some of my mom's.
I went from about a 8/8.5 to a 7 so far (I think). |
i went from an 8 to a 5.0! Congrats on your success!
Samantha - How much was it to get it re-sized? We got mine sized originally, but the first one is always free. Its starting to get where I'm afraid it might slip off.
My engagement ring is a 7.5 and it's starting to get loose. My other ring is always on my right hand ring finger and that one is getting loose too, but at least that one is free resizing from a local store.
I'm jealous! I've always had really fat fingers! Even at my lowest weight and I swear they are always the same size! I wear like a 10 I think! BOO
So far i've gone from a 10 to an 8.5... and i'm only halfway there!
I too have fat fingers, I was wearing an 11 or 10 ish and now they are all loose. :)
I started out at a 7.75, and now I'm down probably to a 7 or 6.75. I'm just wearing a plastic spacer on it now until I get down to my goal weight. You can get them at Claires, btw, if you don't want to size your ring right away. It is really bad for your ring to get it resized too often as each time you have it done it breaks down the moleucular structure of the metal ever so slightly and the metal is weakened a bit. (I used to sell jewelry...can you tell? :p )
Yay! Congrats!
My bad. My boyfriend informed me it's an 8... so from a 10 to an 8. Now if only my waist would get that small :)

Wow. I guess you lose weight in all sorts of places...cool and congrats! lol... but ummm...what does NSV mean y'all?
my tight size 11 ring is now very loose!
My class ring is a size 10 and the promise ring from my SO is a size 9.5. They are both SO huge that I've stopped wearing them. So far, I've dropped them down my top while clapping and lost them in the car talking with my hands....not to mention the number of times they've spun around so that the gems are on the inside.
I just got a new ring that is an 8.5 and a little loose already. I won't size the other two until I'm at goal. |
ok...sooo...lol...what does NSV mean??? Sorry to be annoying

Yey on the ring size!! But don't get things sized down until you have too, because they can only size gold so many times till it wont work anymore. :)

Well I'm glad I finally know what NSV means! I've been wondering for awhile, haha.
I think my engagement and wedding band set are at a 9 or so, but now it's so loose it swings around my finger all the time and I'm starting to get concerned it's going to fly off. I made a promise I'd get it resized at 160 pounds, but I'm at 161 and my period just ended so I think I'll just go take them in this Saturday. I got a plan with Ben Moss that includes two free ring sizings and for them to fix anything over the next two years, ie diamonds falling out or damage to the ring. Because it's a set, the band is so thin that it has actually snapped in one area and I need that fixed as well. |
OH!! I like that! Non-Scale Victory....cool beans!
