Is he okay with the lack of intimacy? I don't necessarily mean the abstinence, but more so the fact that he sleeps on the couch (!?!)

It just seems weird that living in sin is okay, but you can't share the same bed. If the reason you don't share the same bed is because of the temptation of sex, I'd say that's a HUGE issue.

*note: I use "living in sin" because of the saving-until-marriage thing. Personally, I'm all about living in sin and getting it on before marriage. ;)
