Welcome dayoneagain! I remember when I broke into the 180s. It was a great feeling. I hope you enjoy it while it lasts because hopefully it won't be for long!

Hovering around 186. TOM arrived yesterday so I'll probably be dropping a few pounds of water in the next couple days...

I've not been exercising or anything.... I haven't eaten horribly (and i've stayed away from sodas!!!) but, I haven't eaten really great either. I have had terrible bronchitis that is just now clearing up. There was a ton of smoke where I am because of wildfires, so I was having difficulty breathing all week. It finally rained today and chased the smoke away.

I feel very discouraged because getting sick derailed me so much.

BUT I am glad I have not gained any weight. I gotta get back on this wagon... TOM is really throwing me for a loop... I feel angry, then sad, then ok, right now i feel like crying because I'm a huge fat cow!!! I just am SICK of being HUGE. I hate my pants, my huge shirts, everything.... i even hate food, because it makes me fat. *sob* I also hate PMS because it makes me soooo moody!!!

It was a bad idea to start just before TOM... it's been 12 days of the 20 day shred + eating on plan and no results on the scale :-(

weirdly I feel leaner, my clothes feel bigger, even the bf has mentioned he sees a change...

what's up??

184 this morning! I am hoping for 183 by the end of the week!

Traveller - I've been at this since the beginning of May, how about you? It was much easier earlier in the summer, as I was doing field work and hiking every day - no need to exercise! Now that I'm back at home, it's so much easier to eat bad things and it takes more effort to exercise. I'm really relearning how to do this! I am hoping that's why the 180s are the bane of my existence lately! :D

cb1 - I think we're in the same part of the world! Thank goodness for that storm yesterday, eh? I'd been putting off my runs because of the health advisory from all of that smoke! Also, it just felt depressing don't you think? Lets hope it doesn't come back! And I've been fighting with my SO for the past week so I definitely understand the PMS thing. LOL!

Anna - You're losing inches but not the lbs! Nothing wrong with that! I've heard that the shred tends to do that - your muscles are working so hard during the shred that they are retaining water while they repair the little tears that make you buff in the end!! Keep it up!

now, how can I let my "new" muscles know that there's no need to be retaining water? Any advice?

Anna - Hmm, I'm not sure if there's much you can do, as it's your body's natural healing process. Best advice I can think of would be just to drink your water to avoid any other pesky water retention! :)

Hahaha! I'm with you on the weighing every day thing! Have you used physics diet.com? It helps to even out the noise!

182 this morning! I weigh every morning too so it may not be that accurate but this is a new number so I'm still excited! :P

Great job misstraveller!!! I'm cheering you on to make goal this month!!!

I weighed in this morning for WW and I am at 182.2lbs! That's 2 pounds for the week, 1 pound away from 10 lbs lost since starting WW, and 2.2 lbs from getting out the 180s!!! WOOOOHOOO!! I am hoping to see the 170s some time this week when I weigh in (I weigh myself daily) so hopefully next Sunday will be a 170s weigh in.

Well I'm back. I've been bad.

I have not lost any weight for weeks. I haven't gained any either. This past week we went on a vacation.... I ate A LOT. we were staying in a hotel and eating out everyday. We went to the rocky mountains so there was strenuous hiking involved everyday, which I felt justified having wine, filet mignon and baked potatoes, and creme brulee for supper every night and and slamming back trail mix, beef jerky and tuna and crackers while hiking.

SO considering I wasn't watching what I ate at all except to stay away from soda, I am impressed that I did not gain a pound.

Anyway. 186 today. Again. I'm sick of being 186. It's been like a month and I should be in the 170's, but I keep finding excuses to eat more. that's gotta stop ASAP... I'm not on vacation anymore.... time to get my butt kicked. i'm grocery shopping tomorrow and I'm gonna stock my fridge with HEALTHY things... no crap allowed!!!

Cb1 - I've been there before. The lowest I was for the past few years was 182 and that was last December. But I was in the 180s for months before that. I am a little nervous if about when I'll break into the 170s. Try to figure out what's stopping your body from losing more and keep at it. And sometimes the best thing to do is to rest then mix things up.

Ok, might be an anomaly but I'm at 180 this morning! 179.5 yesterday but I was dehydrated (and still could be!) These numbers are worth being the designated driver this weekend, I'll tell ya! :D

Back up to 185.8lbs for my weekly WW weigh in. :-( I went on vacation this past week and also took a road trip, so I think I am still holding on to alot of the water weight (since I did not drink as much water as I should have to avoid having to stop so much). Hopefully next Sunday's weigh in will be much lower, and possibly in the 170s. I know I will make it to the 170s!

Did 30DS lvl 1 and C25K training today. Needless to say my legs are pissed off at me :rofl:. But hopefully this will knock some pounds off and get me closer to the 170s.

182.2 lbs, deseperately want to be out of the 180's but my body seems to be on it's own schedule. But hey I was 185 last week so 3lbs down, not bad in a week. ;)

You guys I had a whoosh this morning and I was at 186 , 3 lbs down in a day. I coudn't believe my eyes. I had to get on the scale again while praying the needle doesn't go up. Let's see what happens tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

Down to 181.8lbs today!!! So glad that the weight from the roadtrip is gone, and then some! I am hoping for a 170s weigh in this weekend. I'll be in the gym and counting points religously everyday until then!!

Hello again! I was in this thread at the end of last school year.. made it to 170s and now I am back. You guys can do this! I did it once and will be doing it again.

Today I had 186.0 on the scale. That needs to go away!

Thanks Meeky! I'm glad you said that because I have some great news: the scale said 178lbs this morning!!! I am not going to consider myself out of the 180s until my weigh in on Sunday, but I can't even describe how amazing it felt to see a 7 as the second number on the scale!
