Taylor - We'll get through it! There are times when I struggle and I don't win, and then times when I do win, and sometimes there's even minimal effort on my part to win. Usually when I tell myself I can't have something I list my goals such as staying OP for a week, am I really going to let a french fry get between me and a week 100% OP? Or I list the goals I've accomplished and the ones I still have yet to achieve. I'm still figuring it out as I go, but I think the important thing is recognizing the signs and being able to stop yourself (even if stopping yourself comes after a few bites).

today i thought i was doing pretty good, just under my cal limit, had a few extra choc scorched almonds, let myself off because i start my first ever internship tomorrow and Im nervous, so a little over my count but prob still under 1500. Completely forgot I ate a small bag of rashuns chips today >.< Today I fail at life :(

Taylor - look at you! :) And I was a 12ish at 206 and I'm an 8 now around 169 - so you may be smaller :)
Mary - all that fluctuation is water weight. You should be drinking water during spinning and after drink 1 oz of water per minute of your spin class. you're probably super dehydrating yourself one day then super rehydrating yourself the next day. Jess - uh, he's doing a half iron man and trying to get me to do a 10k/1500m/25 mile. I haven't looked into shorter ones, my problem is going to be the running. I'm going to try jogging after spinning today (if I go). Ugh. So yesterday I helped Jessie in her yard. We had to regrade her lawn, so she had 10 tons of dirt delivered. We raked all the leaves then shoveled at least 5 tons of dirt into the wheel barrels for her dad and uncle. I was pooped when I got home, and I did not eat well, ie a sodium encrusted diet, which was kind of on purpose because we were out in the sun and sweating. I'm trying to decide if I want to go spinning at 10. I made myself an egg white breakfast wrap and I'm just laying in bed watching tv. I'm having a BBQ with the boys later and I'm bringing turkey burgers and shrimp/pineapple skewers. I'm not weighing myself for a few days. It'll just piss me off. I did |

Stella - Thanks! That would be the same advice for all types of intense exercise? I'm going to have to pee a lot more... Also, holy crap congrats on being an 8!!!! :D
Yusssss some of that water weight finally came off today :D Went spinning this morning and now I have the whole gorgeous day to relax. Maybe I'll go get a pedicure :) |

Hi Ladies!
I'm uber stressed out. I have an exam tomorrow and I have done little to prepare for it. So I am chaining myself to this desk until 12pm tomorrow. Ugh I really hate exams. As for weight I have maintained for the last 2 days. Which on one hand really annoys me and on the other I'm glad I didn't gain. And I have lost 3lbs this week so I can't be too down on myself about it. I just have to get through these exams alive. I don't have time to exercise today but I'm going to hit the gym tomorrow after my exam and get a really good work out in, especially as I didn't go yesterday. Sorry I really don't have time for personals but I'll do my best to come back later and do them then! Hope everyone has a great sunday! Maddie |
UGH.....I don't understand how people can go out drinking and still be losing weight. I had 2 Smirnoff Ices last night and am up 3.5 pounds since yesterday morning. Seriously...TWO! It's not like I drank my weight in alcohol. What the heck. So frustrating. Downing the water like it's my job today!!!

jfeioa Look at my ticker!!!! I don't remember the last time I weighed this!!!! Maybe...early high school or middle school? Sorry, I'm excited. Also, I had a dream that I was in this weird place where all they had was horrible vending machine food and fried chicken. It was weird. Okay then. Taylor - You're looking awesome in your pics!!! We're the same height, but I'm jealous that you are a 12. I still can only fit into SOME 16s, and I STILL can't fit into these really old Old Navy 18s I have. I don't know why. I feel like if I went to the store and put on 18s they would fit, but the ones I have that are like at least 5 years old don't still. |
**** YEAH. PR'd for the 5K today. Still not sub-30 but I'll get there.
Stella - I'm assuming you mean 1500m swim, 25 mile bike and 10K run? That's not too bad. You can totally do it! Jenny - Will respond to your email later. I've been out with friends these last two days and have eaten OUT twice haha. As in actually eaten out, and it was glorious. Carne asada fries, tortilla soup, tortilla chips. Noms. We'll see what the scale shows. No biggies. |
Yeah, whatever. I mean the order matters, but you knew what I meant. And I won't be able to do the 10K. I can barely run a mile, and it will be humid, and I can't breathe, hence why I'm thinking of doing a smaller one.
I'm all about positive thinking, but I know my limits and I have very small ones when it comes to running, especially outside in the heat. So the past two days were bad. Today not as bad as yesterday, but there was ice cream today. However, I did work my buns off at the gym today. I was supposed to do my final tonight, but I'm sooo tired. I'm going to take my text book and lay in bed while I find the answers to the questions, then pass out. My goal is to start getting up early and working out in the morning, starting tomorrow. I have even more incentive because I need the time to write out my final tomorrow night. I shall commence weighing on Wednesday! |
Hey Jess! - no worries chick - I'm fine now! My legs are sore and thats about it - try it again tomorrow ;) just maybe not as far!
