I am naive I guess but I never realized that anyone wore anything bigger than a DD. I've never seen any thing bigger in stores? This is just out of curiosity but do you have to buy them somewhere special?
This was one of the reasons I was moaning about not losing cup size. I want to be able to buy bras in a store. Where I can try them on! Where they might actually go on sale! But no, must be special ordered at $85 each.

    Sigh. Rant over.
  • I'm not at a point where weight loss is affecting that area of my body yet but it is interesting/scary to think about. I hope if I lose size its in the band size, sag isn't what I was going for but if i'm healthier as a whole I'm trying to remind myself thats cosmetic and can be fixed. Good info!
  • I'm a 38 B now. I think anyway. I'm waiting to lose a more weight and then i'm gonna go get measured. Hopefully I won't get any smaller. When i was heavier i had wished my boobs were bigger. My other plus size friends all at least had nice chests. I always thought i had wierd preportions.
  • I need to get fit for a bra again... but at my highest I was a 38 DD I think I might be a 36 D now... maybe.
  • I was bra shopping for the first time in almost a year on Friday and my band size went down and my cup size went up. I went from 38D to 36DD, basically as other posters have pointed out, my breasts are the same size they were when I was heavier but I've lost weight around my ribcage.

I'd be happy at a C, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. They're just not shrinking, damnit!
  • So i'm currently a 38 DD. I gained thirty pounds and my cup size stayed the same, lost thirty pounds and surprise, stayed the same. The only difference was which hook i used on my bras. I would LOVE to have a reduction but haven't had children yet. I was advised not to have one done until i have had my kids. Can't wait to be rid of the back pain, sewing button-down shirts shut, and not being able to wear a strapless bra!
