Workout playlist!

I am stuck in a music rut where it seems like my playlist repeats over and over again during my workout: What is everyone else listening to? I'm in need of some fast tempo music!

christinesefton 04-13-2010 07:01 PM

Do you have any favorite genres? Something, like pop or rock or country, might make it easier to suggest something. Personally I like rock. :)

CarbsAreEvil 04-13-2010 07:04 PM

Kanye West - Workout Plan
Sweet Dreams - The old one.
Lady Gaga - Poker Face
Rihanna - Rockstar
BlackEyed Peas - Imma Be
kittycat Dolls - When I grow up & Don't Cha
Esther Dean - Drop it Low

Lilybug418 04-13-2010 07:08 PM

Honestly I like a little bit of everything! From System of a Down to Carrie Underwood to Kanye West. SO anything would be helpful! And I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like some new suggestions! I just want something new to move to during cardio
:carrot: <-- DANCE DANCE hehe

ttmarie23 04-13-2010 07:22 PM

I'm totally cheesy when I work out so here's my list:
Destinys Child- Survivor & Independent women

Nelly- Shake ya tailfeather
Fergie- Fergalicious
Mariah Carey & Jay Z- Heartbreaker
Ludacris & Pharrell- Money Maker
Michael Franti & Spearhead- Say hey
Kanye West- Stronger
****Imma be is a good one!!!
Pretty much anything with a beat or about being stronger and better gets me moving. I wind up shaking my butt while exercising to these songs so more calories burned??? ;)

ttmarie23 04-13-2010 07:28 PM

Oh, Paul Oakenfold- Starry eyed surprise is one of my favorites that I forgot! I jump between hip pop and dance music but most people I know arent a fan of dance... If you are I have a few others to list...

Kmelody- Kudos to you for admitting to liking anything Kesha!! Haha, I was making a cd with tik tok and my friend saw it so I finally had to admit that it grew on me... Almost as shaming as a Hilary Duff or Spice Girl song...

kmelody 04-13-2010 10:36 PM

I know...I'm 25 and still rocking out to Britney Spears. Kesha too :) I have no shame! Haha!

Priscatip 04-13-2010 11:35 PM

lolol I just got the game Just Dance for the Wii and I've been having so much fun dancing to the Spice Girls. In my opinion the best songs for working out to are always the cheesiest, preferably from the 80's or 90's.

KyAngel1975 04-14-2010 09:17 AM

I am the queen of cheesey lol
Ice, Ice, Baby
Can't Touch This
Regulators

stellarosa27 04-25-2010 09:10 PM

I'm a cheesy song worker outer. I love em. They allow me to dance on the stairmaster.

Also, old school Ricky Martin (in Spanish). Awesome.

Katy Perry and Timbaland - If we ever meet again
La Roux - Bulletproof
Queen - Its a kind of magic
Kanye West - Stronger
Miley Cyrus - See you again
Britney Spears - Piece of me
Michael Jackson - Wanna be starting something

Everytime there is a chorus when I'm on a cardio machine I go hardcore. Really good for interval training.

mdchick88 04-26-2010 11:26 AM

Single Ladies - Beyonce
Push It - Salt&Peppa
3 - Britney
Don't Stop the Music - Rihanna
TikTok - Kesha

most of this I would NEVER listen to outside of the gym, but I can't help getting excited every time these songs come on while I'm working out!

Feral 04-26-2010 12:53 PM

MdChick now i have Push It in my head... and the image of the girl singing it in Grandma's Boy! LOL

StuffedBunny 04-26-2010 04:51 PM

Listen to stand up comedy or books on tape! Unlike a song that lasts 5 minutes, these can last for awhile and so you keep going and going not wanting to turn them off.

orcagrrrl2003 04-26-2010 05:13 PM

Here's mine!
Gimme More-Britney
Let it Rock- Kevin Ruldolph
Starstrukk- 3OH!3
Don't Trust Me- 3OH!3
Carry Out- Justin Timberlake/Timbaland

Also I like most NOFX and early Slipknot...

Start Me Up -- Rolling Stones
Smoke On The Water -- Deep Purple
All Right Now -- Free
Magic Carpet Ride -- Steppenwolf
