My bf's mother actually bought me a slice of red velvet cake (which I looovvee) but I've been just eating a bite out of it a day lol. You can do it girl! Were proud of you :D. optwoobs - Welcome! You'll enjoy it here :D, any advice you need ask any of the amazing ladies here. rockstar87 - Oi seems like a ton of work for my lazy butt :P. Yea it seemed so dry here yesterday also, wasn't hot just dry. Luckily I was smart enough to carry water now lol. Well woke up and I weigh 156! (Sorry I never use the decimals).. But I'm pretty excited! I was getting kind of worried staying at 157 for 3-4 days haha, but it's okay yesterday was the start of my new week. My bf got himself a new tv for his birthday yesterday so I've been dealing with watching sports forever now haha. Don't get me wrong I don't dislike sports and I have favorite teams too but my gosh it gets old. Even to a point where the same futbol game was on in the room AND in the living room.. I was like...what? It's okay though his birthday gift, I'll let him enjoy it. Today's plan, same as usual! Eat healthy and work out :D. Enjoy your day ladies! |
Sun – I am definitely a long term chickie, lol. I tried to focus on one day at a time, but it was too easy for me to brush it off as a bad day (too many one days in a row, lol). Have fun with your girlfriends!
Tuende – Congrats on not eating the cake! And the food! Man, you’re good!! While I AM excited about getting to goal and starting maintenance, it’s also very frustrating because some days I feel like I’m so close and yet so far away! Eeps! I was actually reading/hearing somewhere (now I can’t remember) recently that women who set super crazy goals tend to lose more weight than women who set goals that they can definitely attain – ie: Since I’m between 5’8” and 5'9" and a med/lg frame then 150 would be certainly attainable… but 130, maybe not. So in this light, I should set my goal for 130 and then I would lose more… Hope I said that all right. I’m trying to remember the amount I’ve lost and how measly these last few pounds are, but sometimes it’s too easy to dwell on what I *haven’t* lost yet. =/ --But alas… I WILL have rockin’ days for the next 30! Lol Opt – Welcome! It seems that while you’re just jumping in the 150s thread, you’re almost out already! WTG!! Rockstar – Sounds like you had a great run! I’ve been working in more interval running lately since it’s supposed to burn more fat, blah blah. On the plus side, it has upped my speed and I can now run longer than before.. also, it seems to go super fast since one sec I’m running and the next I’m cooling down. Kruez – LOL, nice. I’m sure you’ll get to going through them soon enough. ;) I love your “today’s plan”… I think I might just have to borrow it sometime, lol. Did 30ds last night.. I really feel like I can tell the difference already, although I’m going to have to up the weight for the rows/bicep curls as they are seeming too easy to do now. =/ It’s good though, shows progress. Anyhow, hubby let me get some English muffins at the store last night and now I regret having gotten them. I’ll have to practice massive self control to NOT eat them. Today will be day 1 of my 30 days to reset my habits. :) I brought sliced fruit and cheese for lunch. YUM! |
zephyr524 - It is kinda hard to call what we did camping, lol. My parents have a nice trailer and we pretty much watched movies. We tried to have a fire but then it started raining pretty hard, lol. It is only May though!
stargzr - my weekend was the same as yours, did nothing but eat off plan. Good idea on the 30 day thing, I dunno if I could even last 30 days! tuende - WTG on the cake! rockstar87 - LOL flashback crops is what I ordered! They are cute, very comfy - the pockets bag a bit though; maybe that is what makes them not that flattering? haha I did kinda wish I have of got a size smaller, but all well. My fav pant is the "be still pant" I like they are kinda wide leg but tight in the bum. I don't watch 24, but I used to watch House on Monday's and Lost on Tuesdays - I don't know what to do now either! Least House will be back in the fall. I opened the washing machine last night and what did I find? My beautiful new ipod that I got for Christmas. I am so mad at myself for being so careless. I wanted that ipod soooooooo bad. I can't believe I was so stupid. I seriously blame the Lululemon hoodie, there is just something about the pockets on those that make it so easy to forgot something is in there. My cell phone had the same fate as the ipod in a lulu hoodie. *sigh* I know accidents happen, I just can't believe I was so stupid. I hope I can bring it back to life but I dunno, my headphones still work so I dunno if I can count myself lucky enough that the ipod will too. The cell phone I washed a few years ago worked after I put a new battery in it, but you can't replace the battery on my ipod. Sorry, thanks for listening to me rant. I have an older ipod that works just fine - so im not out, just mad. :( I caved and made cookies last night, but after eating some dough and finding my wet ipod I felt so sick I couldn't even eat them. My boyfriend was like, "what did you make them for then???" ugh... after a couple hours I did have a couple and they weren't even that good. I only made 6 cookies and froze the rest of the dough, so can't get into any more trouble. *sigh* It's raining here and I want to go get soup for lunch, must be good! |
sotypical - Washed the ipod? Eeps! Did you get a chance to let it dry out? I've heard to put it in a bowl of uncooked white rice to draw out the moisture...
Well, no real news here with me. Got lots of cleaning to do at home and here I am at work. Oh well, it'll get done, lol. I'm pretty excited about 30ds tonight again... I seriously can tell the difference already! Hooray! |
stargzr - Omg muffins....mmmmmm. I still haven't cleaned rofl, you have more dedication than me towards cleaning :P. I keep everything straightened, but to go through things is just like "uuggh."
sotypical - Omg, that sucks :[. I thought it was horrible when I smoked and left a lighter in there, but that is 20x terrible (plus I don't smoke anymore lol). Is there no warranty on it? Usually Best Buy (if you bought it from there) has a warranty..maybe even Apple too if you bought it there? Not sure. If not don't stress or cave in a little, it's just an item :D. Woke up and weighed myself, 155! I lost a pound in a day! I nearly gave in last night to eat at 11pm last night because I was so hungry, but I kept myself from actually eating and ate a few cashews. I was so concerned I'd gain a pound or something because I had a pretty big lunch yesterday too, but a small dinner...but I lost a pound! Today's Plan - Eat breakfast and lunch then go out to play futbol with my bf. Wonder what dinner plans are.. hm. |
I know the ipod thing isn't that big of a deal, it's just an ipod. It's just the fact that I wanted it so badly - so my boyfriend made sure that his parents bought me the one I wanted for Christmas - then 6 months later I ruin it. It is currently in a dish of [brown] rice. Going to leave it until Friday or so then plug it in the computer. It doesn't turn on as it is, hopefully the computer can wake it up - but not counting on it. Surprisingly the ear phones I washed still work. I thought for sure they would be goners. I do have apple warranty still left on it; as well as apple care - but pretty sure stupidity isn't covered on that one.
I just seriously feel like crap. TOM isn't helping here - and the fact that I rode my exercise bike for 80 before bed last night. I am tired, sore, head hurts blah. It's gonna be one of those days I guess - a struggle not to put everything in my mouth. Sorry for that depressing post, haha. |

Tuende - I'm the same way; I just can't stand all the temptation. Good for you for sticking to your plan though! My dad is a great, healthy cook too. I love when he makes stuffed peppers... Mmmmmm! Rockstar -Congrats on the 5K!! That's amazing! Kruez - Congrats on two more pounds down! You'll be out of here in no time!! Star - Fruit and cheese is my favorite lunch. I bring that for work almost every day, and it really keeps my energy up and makes me feel happy and healthy. :) Sotypical - freezing the dough is a great plan to limit portions! I'm so sorry about your iPod :( I'd freak out if I did that to my iPhone :( I'm still holding steady at 151, and this week will be torture. My best friend is already planning all sorts of bad-for-you restaurants and alcohol adventures for the trip. I've already informed her that I'll be stopping at a grocery for Slim Fast low carb shakes for breakfast, and that I will be continuing to eat as healthy as I possibly can. |

ValentineNicole - Oooo that sounds rough. I guess just try to make the best choices possible when it comes to food at the restaurants. Also I've been hearing some great advice when it comes to alcohol, stay away from fruity drinks! Do shots or if you do a mix with a coke or soda of some sort, make it diet. I'm sooo bummed atm. I went to play futbol with my bf earlier and my calves begain to hurt sooo bad. It's been doing it since friday or sat. I'm not entirely sure what it is. At first I just thought it was my muscles being sore because I've never worked out and I was breaking them in. But now it's wens. and it's still doing it! I couldn't do my jog/walk today because of it, so instead I put and ice pack all up and down my legs to see if it helps for tomorrows run. |
Hi girls!! I hope you all had a wonderful day. I didn't really have time to spend on here today..busy day! It wasn't to bad though. I feel like I could have done better though. I ordered pizza for dinner tonight. I only had 1 1/2 pieces so it really wasn't too bad..I even drank a full glass of water before eating dinner. I was so excited to step on the scale this morning too because it was down to 155 now I'm hoping that pizza didn't affect that! Well, the next few days are going to be busy. I've got 2 days left of work this week and then I'm off until next Friday. I can not wait!!!!

Kruez - Good luck! I hope your calves feel better. They probably are just sore from suddenly working out; I wouldn't stress about it :)
Zephyr - Congrats on a good weigh-in! I'm up to 152 today...Yuck. It's going to be difficult this weekend to keep to plan, and if I'm already up a pound...ick. Luckily, I'm certain its only water weight, because my carbs were almost 0 yesterday, lol, and my calories were at 1300ish |

I had a pretty good day. I managed to get up a little early to go running. I didn't map it today so I'm not exactly sure how far I ran but it's somewhere around 1.5 miles. my ankle is sore today though. :( I'm so glad that tomorrow is Friday. One more day of work and then I'm off all next week except for Friday. I love the vacations that you can just stay home and relax/do work at home. I have so much I could get caught up on. I'm thinking maybe a yardsale a few days... |
Did someone say English Muffins? I buy mine at Costco I love them so much! They are great - 130 calories per muffin, great for a sandwich. Especially considering the bread I buy is 100 calories a slice, lol.
One of my monitors is acting kinda funny (has been for a while). My arm is sore from smacking my desk and my boss is going crazy from me hitting it. HAH dunno why, but I thought that was kinda funny.... |
I LOVE english muffins. I usually keep them in my house for a snack in the evening with some peanut butter or nutella.

Hello ladies! I am so glad that everyone seems to be doing well this week. I am dreading the holiday weekend. Holiday cookouts can be brutal on the waist line i tend to piece way to much. It doesn't seem like much until the end of the day when i look back and think wow a spoonful of this a handful of that really does add up.
Alright I need some advice! What excercises are best for helping you lose inches off your butt and thighs? I seem to be losing weight every where but in those 2 places, not to sure what to do!! Any advice is really appreciate need to see some motivational inches melt away lol. Hope everyone stays strong this weekend, and that the weather is nice. |
