plateau. Now its been a week and a few days at 223-224.....im terrified to "cycle" points, i know thats probably my problem but i like the safety of 28 points no more, no less and the idea of using more scares me.

Maybe not cycle points but make sure you're eating points that are better for you than say a cupcake... try more veggies and fruits and lean meats... I know that I can stay in the same place by using my calories on junk even when I'm staying within my range

I just went through that last week. I had been 3 weeks at 173 before I realized I needed to do something. I honestly don't even know that I've really changed anything but I'm down pretty good so far this week.

You can do it!!

It always seems like i am eating okay, we dont really buy any junk food except our skinny cows which i allow myself one every 2-3 days

sample of what i had yesterday

Breakfast: English Muffin, 1/4cup egg beaters, 1 slice reduced fat colby cheese and a banana

Snack: Fiber One Bar

Lunch: Salad with turkey and shredded cheese with 2tbs light ranch dressing

Snack:Fiber One bar (oops hehe)

Dinner:4oz Fiber Plus Reduced Calorie Pasta,1/2 Cup Prego Meat flavored sauce, 2tbs reduced fat parmesean cheese

Snack: one sweet pepper cut up

Desert: Skinny Cow Cone

i also had 48oz water

**writing it out i see that im not adding in enough veggies and fruit even though im not eating junk im also not eating enough healthy stuff either.

I had this same problem 3 weeks ago.. The main thing I changed was granola bars and most refined carbs... I get 20 points a day.. I used to always have toast and granola bars for breakfast and snacks and rice and pasta for supper.. Here is what I did.. I replaced Granola bars with fruit fruit fruit.. Better for you then granola bars.. I would have 1/2 cup a rice with a ton of veggies and chicken in a stirfry.. I made sure every single day I got at very least 5 servings of fruits and vegs, 2 milk, 2 oil, and lots of water and 2 lean protiens. Also I counted every single BLT.. Bites Licks and Tastes.. That was huge.. And you are only cheating yourself... I droped 9 pounds in 3 weeks. On a 5"5 frame that is alot I also got to my lowest weight ever.. So you can give things like this a try...

You should be eating no more than 30% of your daily calories from fat - but some like to keep it a lot lower than 30%. Just beware because if you don't have enough fat in your diet, things can go awry.

Also, low-fat, non-fat products are often higher in sugar and are more calories, just something to be mindful of.
