im confused. what diet plan is this? why not try eating tons of veggies through out the day instead of two fruits. where are the veggies in your plan? it helps me go for hours without being hungry because i have to eat 8-10 veggies a day prepared however I want but I often eat them raw with a low-fat dip or with vinegar... there is no way your at 1200 cals with that little amount of food. grains can also weigh you down so maybe instead of the bran in the morning you could try some egg whites full of veggies and get a dairy in with some non-fat/low-fat shredded cheese. That small of a meal plan seems just too small and you need to be fueling your body to lose weight.
You are getting hardly any calcium. Why not milk? Are you vegan?
Also, there are no veggies except for the leek soup here.
I would add more.
I really think you should see a dietitian. You don't seem to have a great understanding of what nutrients and fat/carb/protein requirements you have.
You post these "increasing intake" blurbs. Everyone responds, concerned, and you rarely if ever write back or seem to take our advice.
I also notice that your scale hasn't moved since I have been following you.
Maybe you should really try to accept our advice for 2 weeks and see if that helps your scale and your health!
I will point out again though that I think your goal weight is a bit low, especially if you have to eat such small amounts to reach it.
I asked before on the other thread what your frame size was and gave you a way to measure it so that we could help assess your goal weight and your calorie intake.
I am still worried and a little frustrated that you don't respond and we seem to go through this same routine every week.
sh3l5 i'll gladly send you any info i have on the program I am doing and paying A LOT of money for but I really think you need some nutritional guidance. Eating less does not always mean you will lose weight.
Seeing a dietitian/nutritionist is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I highly recommend it and chances are you can find one near you in your price range but like I said, while this program I am doing (Transitions Lifestyle System) is pricey, I've lost 25 lbs in almost 5 weeks. it's working. And I eat all day. ALL good foods. and its more about KNOWING why what your eating will help you lose weight instead of assuming because something is low-fat/fat-free that it's good for you. It also helped explain to me that eating less is not good for me at all. It isn't good for anyone.
Please take our advice and seek professionals to explain to you why you need to increase what your eating to decrease your pant size! You can do this, and you definitely don't need to starve to do so.
