Oh boy, I'm taking a full course load for the first time since 1st year (I'm in my 4th now) and I just don't understand how some people can manage with school, work, extra-curriculars, working out and having families. I've met some people who do it and there are obviously some of you on here, it's just so crazy and admirable!
It's only the 3rd week of school, so my course work is light and I've dropped some of my work hours, so I've been managing to sneak in some workout time, but I hope I can maintain it once things get more hectic.
My exercise of choice is swimming and the hours at my nearby pool are limited, so I have to work them into my schedule. But I know later on it's going to become a struggle making it there while in the middle of working on a paper or something.

I'm heavily overweight (I don't look so fat though, thank god!) and I prioritize weight loss over school. Health first, and the rest follows ;)

I wouldn't sacrifice school for anything. If you need to study those hours, study them. Don't settle for lower grades if you don't want to. Just work in the exercise and understand it may take you longer to achieve your weight loss goals because of your educational goals.

Also understand that keeping up the exercise will involve sacrifice. Sure you may not WANT to get up at 5 am, but if that's the only time you can work out, you'll HAVE to do it. Would you rather sleep in or remain at your current weight until AFTER you're done with school? Or cut into what social time you have...again, hang out longer or stay the same weight?

Otherwise...a suggestion....Maybe take your workout clothes with you and as SOON as you're done with your last class, hit the rec center for a workout, THEN go home to study, have dinner, etc? If you can get in half an hour a day, even, that's better than nothing, and won't cut into study time too much...
