Dinner....I hate cooking dinner

  • Find a college cookbook; look on amazon or barnes and noble. I received one - wish I could remember the name - as a HS grad gift and loved it! I would browse the bookstore and find one that suits you. I saw one on amazon that were all simple recipes you could make in the microwave.
  • I know I should...

I just don't really like microwaving either. Sticking something in a little box while the water molecules move around and then I eat it doesn't really excite me. I think microwaves are weird. LOL

I agree. I only use mine for quick re-heats. I recommend "The Everything College Cookbook" that doesn't nuke everything. You can even read a couple chapters on barnes and nobles website. Or any of Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meal cookbooks; I do find that I do a lot of substituting for lower fat/calorie ingredients.
  • I love the george foreman I'll cook a piece of chicken and some veggies and its done in about 5 minutes. Toss it in a whole wheat tortilla with some fat free sour cream and salsa or on a salad and I'm done. Or I'll get some pita bread top it off with pizza sauce and low fat cheese and depending on how much time I have microwave it or bake it til the cheese is melted.

But if I'm really lazy, I'll just eat cereal haha.
