Hi girls,

How was everyones weekend?
I drank too much beer, and didn't eat enough.
My Nana is in the hospital. She had a bloodclot in her heart, and a kidney infection. Friday night was a rough one for her, she kept saying she was going to die, but she didn't. She was in ICU, but they moved her into a regular ward today. So she's doing better
It has literally rained here everyday this summer. What's going on here? I wasn't aware I lived in England? (I heard it rains a lot in England) This summer is so crappy!!

Luvja- Sorry about your Nana...I hope she's okay.

I ate a lot of ribs tonight. My stomach hates me right now. We finally had some sunny days around here, though, so I was pretty active...running, biking, swimming, gardening, and bowling if that counts lol. Hopefully that made up for some of it; it was hard to count the calories bc I was eating out, but I think I stayed in my budget. I finally saw The hangover, and laughed my *** off. And I might have made my bf a little uncomfortable with just how much I was enjoying Bradley Cooper's hotness.

Luvja- hope your nana gets well soon, sounds like she is on the up and up which is good, but health scares are always, well, scary

I have also eaten waaaaay too much the past few days, but today is monday so it is a new week back on track. Someone asked me today if I had been hitting the gym lately because I was looking good so i better keep it up!

Forestroad I just saw the Hangover tonight, and I agree both with the hilarity and the hotness of Bradley Cooper. yum yum

It's been so hot lately, I'm annoyed to leave my apartment. I've got two finals in the next two days, then a few days off, a wedding, then new classes start next Monday. yaay *sarcasm*

hey at least its not 3 degrees C where you are >.< (or 37.5 degrees F). Freeeezing

I haven't eaten the best either this weekend....but I did a bunch of shopping LOL

Forest - Yay for hot movie stars.

I totally slacked off on the "physical activity" this weekend. It was so damn hot I was either at the pool or in my house. I read a lot - The Memory Keeper's Daughter and I'm re-reading The Time Traveler's Wife (my favorite book EVER). I made cookies yesterday out of boredom but I didn't eat too many and managed to stay on food budget all weekend. I hung out with the roommates and one of their girlfriends that was down from NY. After I made the cookies and told her to take some home, she was like you're wasting away and I'm gaining!! I was like really, wasting away Yay.

Back to the gym today (no dizzy spells yet, yay) and I have some serious butt to kick on that elliptical machine tonight.

Stellarosa27- Those are definitely two of my favorite books too. Are you excited for the movie? I LOVE rachel mcadams, so I'm hoping the movie is good, but I'd say 95% of the time I end up disappointed by movie adaptions, so I'm not getting my hopes too high. I read something called The Thirteenth Tale this weekend, and I just loved it.
Drank way way too much beer this weekend, I started out my nights well, but then eventually got bored while everyone else was getting drunk and decided to join in. What does everyone do when all your friends are drinking? I don't want to be the party pooper, but I also don't need to be chugging beers.

Last night I went to a poetry slam with my girlfriend's and drank red wine...had a great time....ended up getting fast food late at night. >.<

I did manage to still get up at a reasonable hour ( a nap in going to be required, however) and walk the dog and eat my normal healthy breakfast.

I just wanna stop all this bullsh*t and stay focused.

Thanks Taylor, and you're right, you are worth more than that. However, it happens! Don't beat yourself up over it. Life happens, honey!

But I keep making these bad food choices knowing full well what I am doing and why I am doing it - yet I continue.

I am like, "Oh, look - the same brick wall I have been hitting my head on for the last 18 years...yes...let's continue to hit my head on it cause I like the feeling of my brain coming out my ears..."

I feel you. I'm going through the same thing myself. Weekends are ruining me.

Taylor - I think its just we're used to our old "habits" and that's why its so easy to kind of lapse back into old ways, even knowing what we do is bad. I think after a certain time, the lapses will stop after we get used to our new "good" habits. You're doing great. Yeah, you had wine and fast food, but you got right up and got some exercise. One little lapse like that isn't going to derail your whole efforts, and you can use your anger at yourself to prevent it from happening for longer? Maybe? That's how I am.

Weekends are really hard for me too (stupid peer pressure/living with skinny guys), but I figure as long as I keep trucking along, 1-2 days OP every 2 weeks won't KILL me, as long as I don't eat a whole cake. I still give myself h3ll for those days (like this weekend when I layed around like a log) but that just makes this little part of me be more OP, maybe to counteract what I've done, and maybe just realizing I need to get my A$$ back in gear.
