Default new special K protein shakes

i was wondering if anyone (besides me) has tried them and what do you think of them? i like them. they taste delicious and they seem to help with feeling fuller longer. the commercial advertises it as a breakfast shake, but that would NOT be enough for me for breakfast. i usually have one at work between 2:30-3:30. it helps during that stretch between lunch and going home.

Yeah, tell us more!

I looked them up on the Kellogs/SpecialK web site, but they aren't listed yet (maybe they're just in a few markets right now?).

Ah ha, here's a review that lists nutrition information: http://www.busymom.net/reviews/2009/...in_shakes.html

Excerpt: "They come in Milk Chocolate, Strawberry and French Vanilla flavors, and they have a convenient, reclosable bottle. At 180 calories, 5 grams of fat, 29 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of fiber, 18 grams of sugar and 10 grams of protein, they are around 3 Weight Watchers
POINTS. "

I'm not sure I'd want that much sugar, but I do like that it has so much fiber. Which of the flavors have you tried?

Ooh. Fiber... (my new obsession)

Maybe I'll try them.

I agree, not enough for me for breakfast. I like my 2 point oatmeal, it fills me up.

I am a shake person, but that seems like an awful lot of sugar... I did get a coupon for them at the store yesterday, so I may give them a shot.

I tried a sample of one and it was really good. Also not enough calories for me for breakfast, but I can see where it would be a good filler in the afternoon.

I would conside something like Optimum Whey's chocolate shake... 130cals, 1.5g fat, 5g carbs, 3g sugar, 24g protein. Tastes yummy! I mix with milk or water. When mixed with milk it tastes like melted ice cream.

What are the actual ingredients? That would be my question. Some of that stuff is scary scary.

I like Carnation Instant Breakfast - I use it to bump up my protein after I get home from the gym. It covers my chocolate/milk shake cravings. And you can go with or without sugar....

I like the pure protein ones that you mix yourself they have hardly any sugar and only like $20 for a big container
