Too Much Garlic!!! :(
I just made some macaroni w/ tomatoes and I added like 1 1/2 cloves of garlic...now all I can do is clutch my stomach in pain. Have you ever had this problem, or is it just me?
|
Hm. I wonder what that condenses down to. I just had a teaspoon of pre-diced garlic in my pasta also for dinner....
When I eat to much garlic usually just my mouth hurts. I hope you figure it out! |
I was under the impression that there was NEVER too much garlic! haha....
I hope you feel better soon. :( |
Maybe it was a reaction the garlic. I use a lot, too, but have never had that problem. I hope you feel better!

I use a ton of garlic--and I do mean a ton. I made a pot of soup today and put in 20 buds. No stomach pains here.
|
haha. whenever i eat obscene amounts of garlic i am soooo gassy the next day. heh.

Some people are sensitive to garlic, but it's like other veggie sensitivities, not everyone experiences them. We have a friend who is actually allergic to onions and garlic, and my hubby gets a stomach ache from fresh green peppers, but not dehydrated (must be a sensitivity to an enzyme that is destroyed by the drying process).
One of my favorite dishes is 40 clove chicken (though I may use more like 80 - yep one chicken and several full bulbs/heads of garlic) , so I'm also one for whom there is no "too much" when it comes to garlic (raw or cooked). |
Yeah, I never thought there was such a thing until today either...maybe it actually was the tomato.
I went to the gym and tried to work it off. haha. It worked, so yay! |
Yeah, I'm not familiar with "too much garlic"- I put it in EVERYTHING. Glad you're feeling better :)
