Default What are some of the things that keep you motivated

Well I guess the title really says it all. lol.

One thing that I've started to do was write my weight one one hand in Marker or pen. Every time I see it I remind myself WHY Im on a diet and it keep me away from the sweets.
It works for me,

I was just wondering what keep everyone else on track?

I just think about the times where my weight had gotten in the way of doing the things I wanted to do, or times when my weight had caused a moment of embarrassment. That in itself is usually enough. If I am having a really bad day, I like to remind myself of all the things I want to do with my life, and how being overweight could get in the way of those things. I also love to go to the GOAL photo album here, just to remind myself that someday, I could be posting my pics up there too.

Things like seeing the pics form the most awesomest Vaca I ever had and remembering just how uncomfortable I was at my high weight! Talking about it to friends and family (especially family). My mother and I do WW together and trying to imagine not losing and just maintaining.

High blood pressure and heart disease run in my family - and weight loss can lower the risk of each by at least half.

I have a Biggest Loser calender and on each day, there is a check box for Exercise, Food Plan, and Calories. So each time I exercise I put a nice big check mark beside it. Throughout the week, it's very motivating to see all the checks filled in! It keeps me on track. Also, every Tuesday it's weigh day so seeing my progress each week helps out too!

My boyfriend often motivates me and encourages me to go to the gym on days when I feel off. He can also remind me that I should make healthier food choices when I'm crazy something junky

I like looking at the areas of my body that I think look good--a day when I think my face looks nice in the mirror or my neck looks particularly thin motivates me. I also like feeling my hip bones or the muscle tone in my arms.
