Default 20-Somethings In-Between Challenges Chat

Technically our "fruity" challenge is now over.
This is a place for all those who took part in the last challenge and would like to take part in the new challenge to continue supporting one-another. (Don't forget to sign up if you haven't already for the new challenge)

I know it feels a little anti-climactic without an announcement as to how the teams did overall in the last challenge so I was wondering if anyone would mind if I went through all the weigh in threads and threw together some results for everyone to see?

The only other team leader who has posted results is the team leader for team Banana, so it may take a couple days before we can put together some complete team results for everyone to see.

I'm super excited about a new challenge! This last one kept me motivated because I knew I was going to have to post my weight every week and my team needed the loss

Talking Newsletter for next challenge... ??

I was just thinking that I really liked the idea of a weekly newsletter during the challenge. I would be interested in doing a weekly newsletter for the next challenge... I think it would be fun. I def. have the time to do it... :

I can't wait for the new challenge. It kept me on my toes in the end. I don't know where I was in the beginning. So far, I've lost 7 pounds in April so that makes me want to get a new one rollin and kick some butt!

I think a newsletter is a great idea... I just don't think that the result necessarily need to be posted in the newsletter alone. I think weekly results for the teams should be posted up so you can see only those... and then read the newsletter and all the good info that will be in there too.

I didn't get to take part in challenge before this one... but I do like idea of challenges or temptations somehow like the tv show. Just not sure how that could work. Any ideas?

Cool

Tigerlily-

I agree... I think that this time around we should have a thread for the teams weekly results so everyone can see what is going on with the other teams... I think that the individual teams had a lot of commuication but not with all the teams... but I think that this time will be better! LOL

Sorry I didn't clarify my thoughts on this in my prior post... I just like the idea of motivation stories or ideas and tips that can be helpful during the week. I was thinking I would post a newsletter at the start of each week to help motivate other losers have a great week!

Any other thoughts?

I really liked reading the newsletter- and it was great to have a weekly group discuss topic. The facts were fun, but I really enjoyed the info on healthy eating, and myths in weight loss

akacutie~ I think the newsletter is and was a great idea so if you want to run with it, feel free. I didn't want to take that on, because I was afraid it would be too much and I wouldn't be able to get everything done.

Also, the idea of a separate thread for teams to report weigh-ins is a really good one. That would also make it easier for me to compile everything and compare stats. As of right now it looks like we may only have 2-3 teams for this challenge as there are only 28 signed up right now. I like the idea of bigger teams because there does tend to be a few that drop out as the challenges go along, so as of right now, we will only have 2 teams. If you would like more teams, start recruiting

Two teams of hardcore people is more motivating and fun than 12 teams of people who are not really invested...IMHO.

Bob's Team
Jillian's Team

Is anyone besides me actually addicted to the tv show?
