I know this probably is a VERY silly question but here it goes!

I am a VERY top heavy girl... like lets just say bigger then Dolly Parton...

I am looking to lose about 25-35lbs and I am PRAYING that my boobs go down in size?

Will they or am I just dreaming of wearing tank tops?

Have any of you had experience with this?

they should shrink I think ive gone down just about a cup size, and i know other people on here have shrunk too. Everyone is different, but im sure they should change a little bit at least

The boobs were the first to go on me, but I've always carried weight in the thighs. Beginning of freshman year in college I was a C, thirty pounds lighter I'm an A bordering on AA. After your projected 25 lbs you should at least be down in the regular D range

I was a 44EE when I was 16 and got a breast reduction. I would look into the procedure -- really changed my appearance..I am now a 38C or D

But yes, weight loss should make them smaller!!

I am hoping mine will lift. I am too young for saggy girls! I don't want to lose a cup size, but if it means that they will lift... well, I can learn to live with it :-D

it took me 50 lbs to go down ONE cup size! 50 lbs!

I went from a G (DDDD) to a F (DDD).

My mom lost 15 lbs and went from a DDD to a DD so it varies I guess. I am hoping that I'll go down a couple more sizes when I drop another 30 lbs to my goal but who knows?

Mine shrunk but now they're practically down to my belly button (i exaggerate lol but they are saggy now).

Just remember when you lose 10 lbs, you lose 10 lbs everywhere not just in 1 spot. Don't get discouraged!

It depends on what tissue percentage your brests are made.
Since breasts are made of fat tissue and gland tissue, the one you loose is the fat tissue while the other stays the same. Then...if you have more fat than gland you'll loose it, otherwise it'll be the same.
I'm the example of one with more gland than fat, so my breast stays right the same, but it doesn't bother me.

i think average-sized and -proportioned women tend to lose weight in the boobs pretty easily, but this varies. have you ever weighed close to your goal weight as an adult? that might give you a sense of what to expect. for me, i started at about an E. i'm still a very ample D+. They are getting a bit smaller as I lose, but i'm not holding out much hope for a dramatic change. Even in 8th grade at about my goal weight, I was still rocking about a C/D.

I wish you luck. I am having the opposite and my boobs are growing. I've lost 31 lbs now. I'm a 38H and still growing . I've always been fitted for them. So weeee. I'll gladly donate to anyone that wants bigger girls haha.

I have actually thought about getting a breast reduction but I would like to do it after I have children! I have also offered other friends some of my boobs if they ever needed it lol.... I would love to take some of that fat also and put it in my butt... but what can you do! You win some you lose some!

Sws- I have never really seen my boobs go down as an adult, However I do remember being a C cup when I was 15 lol.... I am now 26 about to be 27 so... we'll see what happens with the weight loss!

Maybe they will shrink, maybe not. I've lost about 30 pounds or so recently and my boobs went from a 38 DDD to a 32 G. It appears I got smaller around the back but my boobs didn't really shrink.
