So last night episode was crazy. lol today i was watching a mini marathon of the BL and bob was not taking crap from this girl she was giving excuses that she was plateauing. he had said the reason y we did is that we were still eating more of the bad foods then we should have been eating. i have been thinking about that n that kinda sounds right in my case anyways. its sooo hard not to give in when ur having a bad day tho lol n maybe all those bad days adds up n thats y i plateau. idk lol just thought i would share. lol
Sometimes that show scares me because they don't do anything BUT workout and be advised on nutrition. So when they don't make it, it kind of makes weight loss in the real world seem impossible!
But I agree with you, the more you gamble with your food choices, the more you risk gaining or hitting a plateau!
like Jillian was freaking over a DRINK...in the REAL world they will have a drink and they will not all be Nuns or something. I'm sure she just wanted them to be making extremely healthy choices that will not jeopardize their weightloss.....drinking may lead to unhealthy food choices for a lot of people. I honestly DON'T think I could handle working out and focusing so much on just losing weight.heck I was beginning to think I was becoming obsessed with the whole thing just doing it on my own..I can imagine if i was on the show. I guess that's why it is so stressful and emotional for a lot of the contestants.

The funniest thing about that whole black team going out was Mike's face as all the adults were getting drunk. He looked really awkward being the only underage member of the team while they were all getting smashed.
Lol, ohhh, Mike. Is Mike over 19? I can't remember.. cos he'd be legal in Canada, heehee.
To be totally honest, I thought that the whole having-a-few-drinks thing was no big deal... IF they were in the real world.
However, they're playing a game where they're trying to get down to the lowest weight possible, and they HAVE to weigh in low on a certain day.
So... having a sodium, fat and calorie-filled diet, followed up by drinks, and even... french fries and chicken fingers AFTER dinner at the bar... not a good idea when you know you're being weighed in a few days later, you know??
I think that's why Jillian flipped out, lol.
I wanted to punch philipe after he weighed in and blamed jillian for his lower than average loss. I was like, you dumb@ss you did that to yourself!!!!
Also, I like Ron a lot...but Kristen and Cathy need to stop following him blindly.
I commented to my husband that I'm not really emotionally attached to anyone this season (Like I was last season with Colleen, I cried for a solid hour) but when Mandi threw the vote, I burst into tears.
But I think he should've gone home over Mandi. The Blue team keeps voting off all its strongest people for the sake of the alliance. Which means... blue team's gonna be back in elimination. Over. And over. And over. Ron's great, but...Ron never drops high high numbers, and he never performs well in challenges.
I agree that he needs the help and he should be there... but it is a game. And him staying is helping to force them back to elimination each week.
I just started watching the show last week for the first time... TOTALLY HOOKED ME IN!! I record it, and then watch it later on my DVR. Last night, I was on the treadmill for two miles while watching it... I totally am in the blue team's corner. Jelbb, I don't need to repeat a word you said, because it is totally true. Heck, if it wasn't for Aubrey and Mandi in the Challenge, they wouldn't have been near as close to the black team.
But, I am totally suprised that Jillian didn't do worse than she did. Granted, it was pretty harsh what she said, but heck, ultimately, it's a show... that millions of people watch. And would you want to be embaressed like that by your team in front of everyone?
Basically the Biggest Loser is a freakin game. "I came here to lose the most weight to win the $250,000 and if I don't win, at least I got to lose weight while I was playing (like runner-up prize or something)". I mean seriously that is the bottom line. Ron is a nice guy but he should have BEEN voted off weeks ago. Ron wants all the strong ppl off....duh so he has a better chance at winning, except he is doing it all wrong cause they need the strong ppl to compete w/ black for a least a chance at winning.

It seems that the blue team play with their heart more often then strategy. They vote off people that appear to be able to do it on their own regardless of the fact that that is likely why they keep losing challenges.
now the question is this... would Ron be so gung ho on voting off the strong contestants if it wasn't his son on the other team? Maybe he's more strategizing then he seems.
I would feel for the blue team.....except that they are freakin' idiots for voting off Dane! For example, had they not done that they would have won last week because Ron lost his weigh in, but Dane would have won. It would have changed everything. And I love Ron, but I scream at the television when he is NOT EVEN CONSIDERED to go home. It's like such an obvious choice for me for the strength of his team. I can't believe it's not even brought up! They deserve to lose just for keeping him on the team. It's like, DUH--you voted off your strongest player, what do you expect?
But all that said, last week's episode was the best and most suspense filled that I've ever seen. I'm sure the ratings tripled!
