ARGH! So I'm still having massive amounts of pain and not being able to sleep because of the stupid surgery. I get to cleaning up and sorting through some stuff, and I find my long lost IPoD! It's an older nano, but it's big enough to have a few hundred tunes on it. I want to start fresh and have a new workout mix on it.... So, my question to you is....
What are your favorite workout tunes and/or tunes that get you pumped
up?
I like more Alt Rock, so I tend to workout with music by Shinedown (Fly from the Inside, Second Chance), I am on a Pearl Jam kick (Black, Jeremy, Even Flow, Alive), Toby Rand - Throw it Away, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Foo Fighters, Moist - Push or Resurrection or Silver.., POD, Red - Already Over or Let Go
I like 80's music, so I have "Caroline" (don't remember the artist) and lots of Yaz. I also have some of Madonna's Confessions CD on it. Also, "Fighter" by Christina Aguilara, "Pop" by NSync, "Great Adventure" by Stephen Curtis Chapman. There is this great Ipod download under the running section by Crystal Method. It is designed in partnership with Nike and is awesome!
i'm not a huuuge hip hop fan, but for some reason, girl talk's night ripper album (it's the most awesome eclectic mix of mashups of everything from fergie, gwen, biggie, ludacris, elton john, neutral milk hotel and so on that you'd never think to mix together) reaaaally does wonders for me on the treadmill. i love it because it just keeps moving along with very short segments, some that are only 30 seconds long.
I either listen to all the pop/rap/hip hop... or more alternative route
I've been loving little wayne, ludacris... my chemical romance, the used, framing hanley
yah i Like to blast some of britney's songs; also like rihanna's stuff; right now, I have Kelly Clarkson's new song on my exercise playlist, "survivor", and sir mixalot "baby got back" gets me going. LOL a lot of pop i guess...
Lately, Beyonce does it for me. I used to listen to everything from Evanescence to Joss Stone. Nothing keeps me running like Get me Bodied, Single Ladies, Ring the Alarm etc..
I like beyonce, kelly clarkson, some hard rock songs by atreyu, breakin benjamin, also love most of britneys songs. They keep me energized.
I like club music too.
Lots of Pop - 80's beats are consistent for the treadmill. Here are my personal favorites for pushing until the endorphins kick in
Jesse's Girl - Rick Springfield
Gonna Make You Sweat - C&C Music Factory
My Sharona - The Knack
Tell it To My Heart - Taylor Dayne
Walk Like and Egyptian - The Bangles
