Three meals a day?
I kinda mix it up, but I do notice that I feel less deprived if I eat one big satisfying meal, and a few very small meals. On the other hand, I've also noticed that if I eat a couple hundred calories every few hours regardless of whether I'm hungry, then I don't ever GET hungry or full. I kinda speed through the day without thinking about food as much. So it kinda depends. |
It has not been a good day today...
My grandpa passed away very early this morning. He suffered from a stroke near the end of 2007. The end of 2008, he went into the hospital for a simple procedure which turned into complication after complication. He got a bad infection, C. Difficile, so he got moved into a nursing home. Friday, his kidneys and other organs failed and they couldn't do anything. :cry: |

*hugs* aangel - I'm so sorry for your loss. As cliche as it may sound, at least you know he's not dealing with health problems anymore.

Hey girls! I'm going to try to keep up this week on here! I had a great week. I worked out three times with my personal trainer and did so good. I also ran for 30 min, and did another day of cardio for 45 min. My eating was on plan all week. I think upping my calories is what I needed. I haven't "officially" weighed in with my trainer yet, that's tomorrow, but this morning I was 276.5 which was way better than last Monday. We shall see!!!

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. The viewing and funeral is on Tuesday, so it is just going to be such an off day. :( I know my grandpa is in a better place and is not feeling any more pain, so that keeps me going. It is just hard...

HWGA~ Great job this week!!! Question~ Is there any one day either every week or each month that you have a particularly hard time staying OP? For me, the weekend. I plan out all my meals for the week and only bring with me what I plan to eat so there is no extra temptation. During the weekend, I’m constantly around food and have a hard time restraining myself. Plus, my bf always wants to go out or get evil snacks (he’s a pain). Sorry I was MIA over the weekend. I don’t have a comp at home, so there is no internet access for me. I will try to get a weekend question up before I go home for the weekend this week. I basically was off plan all weekend. I’m going to have to really push to get myself OP today. I know if I can push myself today and not let myself skip any workouts or eat evil food today that I’ll be good for the week, it’s just that initial push that I need. The BF and I are better. I’m going to try as hard as I can to stop letting our issues throw me so off base. Aiming for a C25K workout and 10,000 steps today!!! :drill::drill::drill: |

I'm with you though... I have a terrible time on the weekends... I've thought about doing a planned cheat day or something but it always turns into two lol. Back on track during the week tho. Made the bf wake me up (turn lights on pull the covers off) at 6am when he leaves for work so I can get my butt up and go to the gym. Mondays are the hardest. |
For me holidays, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. are the worst. It doesn't matter if it's mine or someone elses! lol For example, October 31-December 31 are hard, the first 6 weeks of the year ar easy, but the Feb. 14-March 19 is birthday season where I and sevearl of my friends haev birthdays and it is hard to not be in a celebratory mood. And yes, it is birthday season right now! I am going to Tony Roma's today, but will stay OP. :)

Weekend for me too! I think because I'm with my DD and bf all day that I end up eating more than I do on weekdays. I don't eat much junk/stuff because I'm right on the schedule...but weekend is so different and since we don't get to spend time with each other on weekdays including eating, we go out to eat on weekends a lot...which sucks, too. I also end up working out less on weekends for some reason. I asked my bf to kick my butt when I am being "bad" but he's the one who wants to eat..KFC, TGIF, Applebee's... :P I weighed today and I'm still at 177.2. I'm actually glad that it's not at 180's. I saw 180's over the weekend and was quite upset about it. So I'm sooo glad that water helped and it's down. My TOM also started today so maybe if I can stay OP and clean this week, I will see some loss. That will be GREAT and get me MOTIVATED! I also got my watch with foot pod in the mail today..and I will be able to find out how many miles I'm actually running daily! Can't wait till tomorrow's run! :D |

If you don't... you should :D I measure the first day of every month. My measurements include my neck, upper arm, waist, hips, upper thigh and calf. Since the beginning of this year I have lost 3 inches off my waist and hips, and 1 off my neck and upper arm. My calf has actually gotten bigger, which I think is from developing muscle which will eventually eat away at the fat. I'm short on time right now so I will add more later... |
