Default **Weekly Chat Feb. 15-21**

I know usually the weekly chat is from Mon-Sun but somehow the weekly chat became Sun-Sat this month. Oh well. So here is new thread...

It seems like many ladies are busy with the V-day weekend.
Mine went great... and bleh as far as being healthy. lol
I didn't get to work out on Friday but made up for it on Saturday, especially because I knew we were going to movies.
Well, my bf and his friend planned ahead and took me and the other gf to a very nice Japanese sushi/steak house, which was a great surprise. When I saw the "chef" cook, I was glad I didn't get any steak stuff... because of all the BUTTER. OMG. Even in fried rice... I cook fried rice all the time but with no butter. Well. I had a very good time.

Now it's back to healthy time.

yayy for a new thread! my vday ended up a little ho hum as well... friday i went out alone and partied it up with friends which was good but came home early because the hubby was home. wish i has stayed out!! haha

yesterday was bad... started really good with hubby bringing me SF candy but i feel like i ate everything in sight yesterday... cookies i bought for the kids, peanuts, chocolate, then we went to a pizza joint for vday dinner because we had the kids and everything would be packed. i ate 4 slices and a little salad and a piece of dessert. then came home and ate more cookies. i felt like craaaaaappppp. my stomach hurt soooo bad. i'm really mad at myself because the stomach pain and the many bathroom trips were NOT worth it. PLUS i will probably have a GAIN this week and that reall makes me pissed because i'm not going for my tattoo until i get to 130!! UGHHHH oh also, i didn't get to wear the outfit i had planned because hubby was EXHAUSTED from work. i think i'll try to wear it tonight. sexy undies never go out of style!

anyway, anybody here ever had spring roll sushi before? i just ate it for dinne and it was kind of weird... imitation crab, shrim, lettuce, avocado, carrot, and cucumber wrapped in rice paper with sweet chili sauce... the nutrition is good so i went ahead and ate it all but it was definitely different.....

what's up with everybody else??

I have been doing both good and bad. My parents are out of town until next weekend visiting my nieces down south and I leave tomorrow to go visit my nephew out in Oklahoma. I've actually been cooking for myself throughout the weekend! Normally, in the past if I was home alone, I would end up ordering Domino's and getting fast food throughout the whole week....so I decided to go food shopping instead.

I've been proud of my choices. Friday night, I cooked one of those Perdue Perfectly Proportioned chicken breasts and had it with salad, carrots, and broccoli. Last night, I made whole wheat penne pasta and had some more salad. I even had turkey rollups on a wheat pita with light popcorn for lunch both days. Very on plan definitely!

However, I also bought cookie dough and have had more than a fair share of those throughout the weekend too! haha But I've been to the gym both days and drinking tons of water....so I'm hoping to make up for the cookies.

I did manage to lock myself out of the house this morning...whoops Thankfully my neighbor helped me break into the house. LOL I kept waiting for the cops to show up because we were making a lot of banging noises! But the rest of the weekend has been spent watching random DVD's. RENT, Made of Honor, and now I'm finishing up Mamma Mia. Good weekend over all!

my day was half good half bad

me the hubby and the kids went out for lunch had drove around shopped n had fun then i came home and just HAD to work out i did some cardio and i puked EVERYTHING i ate right after And now im freezing!

corazonas I love love love spring roll... Haven't tried spring roll sushi but it sounds good. Then again, I'm an Asian myself... so I love any kind of asian food.

Chele Good job for cooking for yourself! When I'm at home alone, I rather end up not eating... I've been wanting to see Momma Mia! How's that movie?

You guys i have made it through the class..it seem like it lasted a life time! now all i have to do is take my test and ill be licensed to sell life insurance in louisiana.. im tryin to stay marketable..you never can have too many skills or trades these days!... I have to great results and news to share and i will catch up tomorow but right now i am dog tired.....have good night ladies!

I hope everyone had a happy v-day. It’s actually one of my least favorite holidays because I’ve never had anyone for v-day. This year we had our second annual “valentine day pity party”. It was fun but I was sick so I didn’t end up drinking at all. Just chilling and talking.

I went shopping some this weekend and got some shirts on clearance. Super cheap and really cute. However, I tried to buy a swimsuit and that was a disaster, with my breast so big, my waist so small, my hips so big and large scars it was a disaster. I’m hoping to go while out in Phoenix and find something.

Good news is I have been able to stop wearing my compression garment which means that I can hopefully ease into working out. Right now supporting my own abdominal muscles is enough but I think in a few days I should be back to normal. Now I’m really starting to realize the results.

Tara – That is great that you had a good v-day.

Cora – Sorry about the rough food day, get back on track today.

Chel – Good job cooking for yourself. It’s so easy to cheat when you are home alone but that is great that you were able to stick with it.

Jah – Throwing up sucks. Hope everything gets better.

Leigh – this is a new week hang in there.

Just checking in for the evening and about ready to go to bed I have to be at work at 730 in the am.

Looks like for the most part everyone had an alright weekend, I know I did. I ate like a horse though. I had 2 margaritas and they were the freakin' best along with a baked tater add sour cream, butter, asparagus and filet minion and a salad with regular ranch dressing. OMG it was worth the time with the boyfriend,

Bee Asparagus sounds pretty good right now.

Remember Shopping! That's awesome! I gotta get to Kohl's because I have gift card from Christmas but I just haven't had a chance to get myself there... I'm glad to hear that you are getting close to "normal"!

Lisa Can't wait to hear the great news!

I'm at work and don't know why but I have cravings for... I don't know what. I just can't put my fingers on it. I drank about 32 oz of water trying to get rid of the stupid craving. Not working. Tried chocolate jello (FF SF) and nope, that wasn't it. I tried grapes and that wasn't it either. I have no idea what it is. Maybe I'm just too bored. I used to work with 6 other people, but the one person I smoke with and always chat with has moved to the day time and today is the first night without her. That might be it. I have no clue and this is not good.

Lisa- congrats on making it through your class, I'm sure you'll rock out the test!
CHele- I'm impressed you resisted the urge to go the easy route and made such healthy meals for yourself! Great inspiration for me
Icononized- I know how you feel, just keep with it because that feeling will pass and know that you're beautiful!

I sympathize with the OP problems of valentine's day, and I'm also looking forward to the week so I can get back on track. I'm in Spain so my bf and I didn't really have a lot of "together" time...in fact he went out on a boat back in FL with some friends and left his phone behind...I was pretty angry at him but I think I'll forgive him when his care package finally arrives.

I ate a huge!!! lunch on Saturday that was almost delicious enough to be worth it but not quite lol. I had to skip dinner, just munch on some snacks. Then yesterday I wasn't as hungry and couldn't make myself eat dinner again...just lite snacks like crackers with nutella and fruit. However, now my host mom thinks I'm sick! I'm trying to let her know that I'm a grazer and don't do well with intaking a lot of calories in one meal but I don't think it's translating very well lol.

Anyway, totally jealous of all of your wonderful family/bf together time!
