When I eat makes a huge difference to how I feel, but I dunno if it affects weight loss at all. I usually go for a run in the afternoon/ early evening and have either dinner or a snack 2 hours before, and then a snack after too. If I don't eat before a workout I have no energy, but if I eat too soon after one I feel like throwing up lol
Since I am not a morning person, I choose to get my exercise on in the evening (between 7 & 9). Thankfully, working out in the evening helps me fall asleep faster & I sleep better. When I tried the morning workout I did notice that I wasn't in the mood to eat much before or after (eating before would make my tummy hurt), so it just didn't work for my schedule.
I have also noticed that if I eat too much (carbs) in the evening I wake up famished & then I tend to over eat in the mornings as well.
I was told that you need to plan you meals around your schedule & bad eating habits. I am a night-time eater. I like to eat around 9pm - 11pm...the bad stuff. So I try to make sure that I have my dinner at 6 & that it is well balanced with my protein & veggies. That is the last meal of the day for me. Otherwise I go crazy and end up eating 500+ calories in junk food.
Do what works best for you.
