I freakin' hate Valentine's Day...
 

Everytime I go to the store, I want to stab every teddy bear I see and rip its stuffing out.

I'm normally a sweet person, but I have a case of unrequited love/crush. And it doesn't help that I'm PMSing.

I hope I don't binge this weekend....

I'm not a huge fan of Valentines. We never do anything. But today my husband left for 16 days and I hate the world. :devil:

I think it's all that Darn Chocolate that make me dread it, and i work in a Supermarket that doesn't help.

I haven't had a date on Valentine's Day since 7th grade. :lol: Ah well, at least I don't have to buy anyone a present. :lol:

Last year was my first planned Valentine's Day date. Bf got strep throat and I spent it feeding him antibiotics and fruit juice and petting his head while he slept all day. Then the car wouldn't start on the 15th because of the cold, so I didn't even get discount candy :cry:

This year he's proposed a video game marathon. La sigh.

I've only had one person be my valentine in my entire life (when I was 18). I also haven't kissed a guy in almost 4 years. :o

I just cried for about an hour, and now I feel a little bit better. I'll probably cry tomorrow too. :lol:

admittedly I have huge plans for Vday with DH that mostly revolve around some hot hot bedroom activity, but TOM is showing signs of arrival and I am PRAYING it holds off until sunday.

Even when I was single I always held out hope that I had a secret admirer for valentines day. Never did. My ninth grade boyfriend couldn't even be bothered to get me anything. Come on!

I'm another one who has never had a Valentine for Valentine's Day... But then, I have never had a boyfriend, or been kissed, or really anything else romantic, either. But Valentine's Day really doesn't get me down because I see it as being sooo commercial and essentially manufactured by greeting card/flowers/candy/etc companies. It seems silly to me that so much emphasis is placed on this one day, especially when there's no real reason for it. If I had a significant other, I would think that it would be much more special to celebrate anniversaries and other dates that are meaningful to that specific relationship, rather than feeling obligated to be romantic on a random day just because you're "supposed" to. I sincerely hope I don't sound cynical, because I don't mean to be at all--I'm actually a big sap, and I love crazy and/or corny romantic gestures! It's just the holiday of Valentine's Day that has always seemed really silly to me. I don't feel bad about not having a Valentine at all, because to me February 14th just feels like any old normal day, heh. :D

I guess I'm not very romantic but I'm married and I don't buy into that valentine's day bunk, it's over-commercialized and over-hyped.

i hate vday, never had a bf or a date on that day. whos with me on having a anti-vday party lol
