Its hard, because I love drinking pepsi. Today is my first day without it, and its becoming hard. I've been drinking it for so long. im moving on to diet soda, and then I slowly plan to weed out the soda all together.

It just amps up my cravings for sweets, not drinking pepsi.
:(

Mickeypnd the sweet cravings will eventually go away! I used to eat a TON of sugar, mostly candy and chocolate, when I stopped, I got really grumpy for about a week and a half and now its okay most of the time.

My favourite filling food is minestrone soup in a can (2 cups)! It's great for when I'm super hungry and will eat anything, yet its only about 120cals for 2 cups! Usually eat it with rye crackers.

As for oatmeal, I like the longer cooking oats (as opposed to the instant kind) with 1cup of frozen berries added in, and I sliced banana if I'm really hungry, and a cup of milk on the side.

I'm big on eating veggies, I try and make half of my meal a vegetable. I don't knwo why but I feel like the more I eat the more full I feel. I try and "sneak" veggies into different things I eat like adding pumpkin to chili, you can't taste it, it bulks up the volume with low calories, and it adds tons of fiber.

Oh yeah I used to eat chocolate ALL the time! The first week on my diet I was so grumpy and snappy- my husband was afraid to speak to me lol. Everything just set me off!

Now I can see sweets and not HAVE to eat them :D

I agree with Remember. Veggies are great to bulk up things -- I also like *looking* at more food on my plate and I do that by adding veggies such as 2 cups of broccoli to 1 cup of brown rice and some canned tomatoes (the low in sodium kind) with shrimp. Really tasty.

Grapes are pretty much a wonder food in my book. They taste good, they're easy, and I only have to eat a couple to ward off hunger until lunch.

Some people like them frozen, but I have very sensitive teeth...OW!

Hummus!

I make my own that uses non-fat plain yogurt, and its only 15cal for a tablespoon. I have 1/4 cup with a bunch of veggies and a piece of fruit for lunch, and I am nice and full all day.
