So I think I've been dancing back and forth between 72-73 kg (158.4-160.6) for a month now. Granted I totally fell off the wagon when I was sick for about 3 weeks around the holidays but I didn't really gain anything. And now for the last 12 out of 14 days (and 11 in a row) I have been totally ON the wagon, usually exercising 60 minutes minutes a day (I've exercised 680 minutes in two weeks - 11hr20min since 1/6).
I wasn't tracking my calories but I started 5 days ago and I have been 1400-1500 everyday. My calories don't feel that different from how I've been eating. I'm sure it's somewhat less but still...
I'VE JUST BEEN SO GOOD!!!!
Today I weighed myself once: 72.5 kg (159.5). Then again: 72 kg. Then again: 73 kg. I want to punch my scale.
The thing is that when I've hit these plateaus before while doing well, I usually am losing inches. But not now. From my whole body, measured in 10 places, I've lost .5 inch in the last month. Cumulative. I measure every weekend and after this awesome week of working out, I had pretty much no change except for a gain of nearly an inch in my thighs & knees (so +2).
I'm going on my big vacation in 5 days and wanted to put this extra effort into exercise to shed a few lbs or inches before I go. I guess not.
Also, on 3FC I'm part of a few challenges and people are losing huge numbers on the scale and tape measures each week and my blood is boiling with envy! I've worked so hard---harder than I've worked at this before and I just wonder how I still weigh the same that I did when I was laid up in bed, sick, not exercising, but probably eating more than I do now.
Anyways...
Anyone else want to rant about their plateau? Misery loves company.
