Junebug: lol! that sound's like such a hilarious experience :) |
Haha... Oh man.. I'm still learning.. I looked for an edit button.. but I didn't look at the bottom of the post.. Lol.
And also, people had already replied to it, so I thought 'd fix it where they would notice.. :P Sorry.. Off-topic.. |
I can't remember the last time I had fast food. I ate Quizznos a couple of weeks ago but do they count?
I love Chik-Fil-A though and their plan grilled chicken sandwiches. But I won't touch McDonald's, Burger King, or Wendy's ever again! |
ohhh man the worst part about fast food for me is that when i cave into the craving i overdo it BIG time. i hope those days are behind me for good because like many of you have said... its nasty food, nasty cooking, and nasty to my tummy!
i ran across this awhile back, and its pretty wild... "IT PRESERVED ITSELF." the horror!! |

I went from eating fast food several times a week to not at all over the past 2 weeks. Yesterday my parents brought home fried chicken strips and fries for lunch. #1 the 4 fried chicken strips and a small fry cost me 16 points1 #2 I felt SOOOOO awful afterwards. My tummy was rumbling and upset. I felt GROSS. My dad later explained that when you're watching fat/calorie intake and you eat something high in either/both that your body doesn't do well with it. Even if it IS over a short amount of time. |

I work in a restaurant and its hard to not want to eat EVERYTHING while I am there...sometimes if I am really hungry i just eat some cucumbers or something and I feel better...instead of eating the biscuits!!
|
Oh, see, now I just want some McDonald's fries really bad...
But I've only had fast food once in 2009 and it was a kiddie meal at Wendy's. Delicious, albeit unhealthy, but not as unhealthy as what I used to always get a couple times a week. I hear that if you absolutely got to have fast food, a kid's meal is the way to go. I'd rather have had a little more self-control, though. :( |
Blcarter- I used to work at Red Lobster, and the biscuits were so hard to resist. Luckily, I was a bartender, so to get one I either had to sneak away or beg a server to bring me one, so it didn't happen much. They were so hard to resist though!

That's awesome! What a victory. I don't even crave take-out anymore either.
