HAAAHhahaha that's really REALLY funny. They always make it look so much better on TV and on the signs eh, those jerks.

There's an edit botton ;) Just go to the post and there's a little button on the bottom right.

I figured that's what you meant, but like Beautiful Ace said, you can edit it! I would look pretty clueless most of the time without that wonderful little button!

darn I wish I was over the fast food stage. I love fast food, especially Mickey D's. I don't think that will ever change, even though I know it is bad for me and has a bunch of useless calories. But, I've been pretty good this month (I had fast food once ; I don't count subway since I get low-cal subs with no cheese or mayo).
Junebug: lol! that sound's like such a hilarious experience :)

Haha... Oh man.. I'm still learning.. I looked for an edit button.. but I didn't look at the bottom of the post.. Lol.

And also, people had already replied to it, so I thought 'd fix it where they would notice.. :P

Sorry.. Off-topic..

I can't remember the last time I had fast food. I ate Quizznos a couple of weeks ago but do they count?

I love Chik-Fil-A though and their plan grilled chicken sandwiches. But I won't touch McDonald's, Burger King, or Wendy's ever again!

ohhh man the worst part about fast food for me is that when i cave into the craving i overdo it BIG time. i hope those days are behind me for good because like many of you have said... its nasty food, nasty cooking, and nasty to my tummy!

i ran across this awhile back, and its pretty wild... "IT PRESERVED ITSELF."

the horror!!

LOL, me too. I didn't see it coming, but there's just not so many great vegetarian options in fast food. So it's been helpful to me, because otherwise, I would have stopped for a burger sometimes.

That's hilarious. That's a story that will never die ;)

Oh man! I had the same thing happen to me and I didn't realize what a difference it would make over a short amount of time.

I went from eating fast food several times a week to not at all over the past 2 weeks. Yesterday my parents brought home fried chicken strips and fries for lunch. #1 the 4 fried chicken strips and a small fry cost me 16 points1 #2 I felt SOOOOO awful afterwards. My tummy was rumbling and upset. I felt GROSS.

My dad later explained that when you're watching fat/calorie intake and you eat something high in either/both that your body doesn't do well with it. Even if it IS over a short amount of time.

Unfortunately, no it won't. Especially since there were tears involved  It was a mess. Red ketchup all over the wall. It was quite the crime scene.

i was eating fast food daily (mostly taco bell, though a bit healthier than the burger joints, NOT really healthy). anyway, i accelerated my graduate program which required me to drive all over this half of the state to get the classes i need. =no time for healthy eating (or so i told myself). once i completed my coursework, i decided i had no more excuses. i have only had fast food 2 times in 6 weeks (taco bell, of course). almost immediately i noticed ANY junk food makes me feel very very ill. my current snack regimen includes rice cakes (cheddar, choc. drizzle, caramel). and "smart pop" popcorn with yogurt raisins mixed in...i need something to turn to when i have the serious cravings.

I work in a restaurant and its hard to not want to eat EVERYTHING while I am there...sometimes if I am really hungry i just eat some cucumbers or something and I feel better...instead of eating the biscuits!!

freshmanweightorbust 01-19-2009 12:37 PM

Oh, see, now I just want some McDonald's fries really bad...

But I've only had fast food once in 2009 and it was a kiddie meal at Wendy's. Delicious, albeit unhealthy, but not as unhealthy as what I used to always get a couple times a week. I hear that if you absolutely got to have fast food, a kid's meal is the way to go.

I'd rather have had a little more self-control, though. :(

anmitche 01-19-2009 04:15 PM

Blcarter- I used to work at Red Lobster, and the biscuits were so hard to resist. Luckily, I was a bartender, so to get one I either had to sneak away or beg a server to bring me one, so it didn't happen much. They were so hard to resist though!

erynn1010 01-19-2009 05:02 PM

That's awesome! What a victory. I don't even crave take-out anymore either.
