Default Help me help me help me!

They are getting my favorite pizza at work tomorrow for lunch and I haven't had it in at least a month so it sounds soooooooo good. But, my hubby and I had planned lunch out Friday so I don't want to eat the pizza. I'd rather be able to splurge a little Friday after being good all week. (Not fall off the wagon, just maybe hang a leg out at lunch and pull it back in at dinner. )

What's something super yummy I can pack and bring instead and not even feel deprived?

I had to tell you girls so I'm accountable. I can't eat it.

I love those Lean Cusine Pizzas, they really do give you a good pizza fix without doing too mich damage (I think they are 300 calories for one). My favorite is the four cheese kind and every time I have one at work everyone comments how good it smells.

Can you let yourself have ONE piece?!?! If you already know that one piece will lead you down a "bad" path, make sure you fill up on fiber before the lunch! Almonds really do tie my hunger back!

I agree about the Lean Cuisine pizzas! They have a buffalo chicken kind if you like spicy, it has a wheat crust, and it is delicious!!

My instructor is bringing pizza to class next week before we take finals so I am thinking about doing what the others said and bring a lean cuisine pizza. That way I am eating with them and practically the same thing except I will be the winner and losing while they aren't .

This might sound unappetizing, but I take the cheese off and have a couple! haha. What I really love about pizza is the sauce and crust so it works for me. Either that or get breadsticks maybe? Don't sit in the corner and eat celery, you'll feel bad about it, but don't go overboard either! Its all about finding your healthy middle in these situations. Let us know how it goes!

I agree with soybean! When there is free pizza, I take off the cheese. That way you can eat it without ppl commenting that you aren't eating it, etc.

Since I'm really hungry for the pizza and I haven't had it in so long nothing sounded good to bring from home. So, I decided to let myself have 1 piece and I brought a small orange for something sweet to go with it.

I have never seen this and would LOVE it. I am going to look for it next time I go grocery shopping.

I agree that you could have one piece if you can just have one. It's not a sprint it's a marathon.

I've never seen Luine Cuisine Pizzas before either!

I have the same issue at my work...I work at a preschool and the last Thursday of every month we order pizza for the children for lunch. At the beginning this was a big issue for me because before I'd just go ahead and have a slice or two without thinking of it. I began making my own pizzas on a whole wheat english muffin with a little sauce, cut up low fat ham or turkey, LOTS of veggies and low fat cheese. I'd look forward to my own simply because of all the veggies on it and I knew I wouldn't feel guilty afterwards. The pizza we order for the children is just pepperoni and cheese (they like bland stuff) and now I don't even bother..I may cut off a piece of crust here and there but finally I realized I can do without.

Good luck! I'd stick to the Luine Cuisine or making one of your own more "tastier" guilt free pizzas...and if you cannot do either, then just simply allow yourself ONE small slice and bring your own salad!
