I'm planning a last minute new years eve party, I'm making an alcoholic punch... I need something low cal, preferably with a vodka or clear rum... any ideas?

I don't have any ideas for hard liquor, except maybe diet 7UP and fruit punch mix...

BUT you could also use champagne, which is fairly low in calories (about 90 cals a glass). I made a drink this year called a "Merry Mimosa" using champagne, pomegranate seeds and POM cherry pomegranate juice. If you want to sweeten it up you can add simple syrup, but that will add to the calorie count.

ETA: champagne can be pretty inexpensive, too.

A container of sugar free pineapple or mango sorbet, 2 liter of diet 7Up, and a bottle of regular bacardi or bacardi coco. Mix it together until well blended and smooth, then chill in the freezer until ready to serve.

I was going to suggest fruit punch sugar free mix and bacardi but the one above sounds better, IMO.
