Slightly too much information
 

So, this may be shocking, but I did something fun this year for my husband's stocking. I have been feeling so much better about myself in just the last month, so I went out on a limb. For his stocking, I bought the new KY Yours+Mine lubricant & boobie tassles! I was totally nervous, but he was pumped. He has so much enjoyed my new found confidence. I wasn't even nervous or trying to hide anything.

Anyone else do something fun & daring for Christmas as a result of how great you feel?

I think my mother in law would have dropped dead on the spot had I slipped something like that in DH's stocking!

I have about 0 confidence at the moment and overinduldging at Christmas did not help, but maybe something like that would move me in the right direction :chin:

The words "boobie tassles" made me giggle, though ;)

LOL We opened our stockings alone!!! Definitely not in front of his parents. We gave each other personal stocking from each other, & then we had the family stockings. I'm not THAT bold!

My bf and I are hoping to go "shopping" for some items when I go see him next weekend. I get more excited about the clothes and he likes the "gadgets" for me and him. LOL

I definitely couldn't have pulled off something like that at my house my family would have all skipped a heart beat or 2 but congrats on you feeling confident again.

I dunno, some MILs are like that. Mine is ultra conservative, which I think is generally for the best.

Come to think of it, the first Christmas we were together I slipped some "dirty dice" into his stocking.... might have to go dig those out!

I'm planning on buying some lingerie for valentines day for the first time since well....ever? I'll put it this way. He's going to have a house bunny for valentines day. tee hee.

I didn't do anything bold this christmas, I just am not feeling that confident :( but hopefully by my birthday or by his birthday I'll be ready!! :) haha I'm sure he misses that confidence I once had.

I have sooo much lingerie that I really have only worn a couple of times!! I can't wait to be able to wear it again..( I dont have significant other now but hey it just makes you feel better) congrats on your confident level....and what fun gifts!

That is great lol. I do not feel confident right now so nothing bold like that. DH has wanted me to get my nipples pierced for a long time and maybe once I reach my goal weight I will actually be brave enough to do it! I am such a chicken! We are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary soon and I was hoping to do it for that but maybe it will have to be for our 6th!

Oooh ... I waffle on this one. A lot. Part of me would love to do it and part of me is a HUGE wimp.

That, and I do plan to have a breast lift after all my weight is gone ... so maybe AFTER that would be a better time to consider it. :)

You both are freaking brave! I would NEVER pierce my nipps!! Ouch!!! I keep thinking that maybe my final pay off will be a belly button ring, but I'm not sure. I feel like it might be pointless if I want to get pregs in 2009...I'll just have to take it out & put it back in. We'll see!

I gave mine a gift certificate to a fun little store near our house and wrote my size on the card...just to help him out when he goes shopping. I won't even TELL you what he brought home last time I gave him a gift certificate to a similar store. I am either brave, stupid or, um, sort of looking forward to it. :devil:

HA HA!!! That's so funny. My husband does the exact same thing! I want him to have the leeway to pick up what he wants, or what he thinks is fun...and instead of something totally manageable, he shoots for the moon! I was like...whoa. Really? I don't think we can handle this!

That's pretty funny about the stocking. I could only do that if no one was looking. And the shades were drawn. And all the family pictures in the living room were turned around.

so everyone likes the yours and mine? i was shopping with the BF this weekend and we needed new lube for his house (i keep the good stuff at my house and got a small bottle of some not so good stuff in my stocking from my roommate along with a new bottle of the good kind) and we ended up getting the KY tingling... haven't had a chance to use it yet though.

So yeah, reading these posts makes me open to new ideas when I reach my goal weight ( or at least feel more confident ) but I'll admit I'm envious of all your confidence, too.

I can't stand KY anything. It just has the most disgusting texture to me. I don't know why I have such a strong reaction to it.

Also, be very careful using any silicone based lube (Intrigue is silicone based) with silicone toys ... they'll react with each other and degrade. Not a good thing. :)

As for nipple piercings, they're great for show but not in real life. I had some for awhile. Getting them pierced didn't hurt, but they take a year to fully heal, they flatten your nipples, and you'll get tired of walking around with 'high beams' 24/7 and having to sleep in a sports bra.

Get the clip ons. They come with two for the nips and one for your lower girly bits, look just as cute, and you can hook swarovski chains to them, etc.

Ok, dish! :) Where can I find them? I saw some one time that were teeny-tiny little spirals that looked ADORABLE, but I can't seem to find them any more ... and I thought I'd bookmarked them. The next time I see my guy will be late Feb and maybe I can surprise him!

I followed both links for the pierceless jewelery, and while I desperately want to try them I can't wrap my head around how to actually make them stay on... I'm figuring it involves some pinching. Nish, do they hurt?

No, but they are snug and they will make them erect and more sensitive (can I type that?) For the ones she linked to, they're like those adjustable rings, you just slip them on and squeeze them to fit however tight you want. For the ones I showed, you just pinch the outside edges to open the circle and fit it over the nipple, then let go and it's on there pretty good. You can bend them to make them permanently looser or tighter, but I leave mine as is. They stay on through dancing, sweat, even vigorous tugging :devil: and they don't bother me. Just don't expect DH or BF to be able to garble out actual words when you have them on. It's like the two things that tweak a mans psyche -- boobs and shiny stuff all in the same place. It usually short circuits something. :p
