Default One week til 2009: Goal chat

Okay, so yesterday after many OFF days, I somehow managed to reach my lowest weight since attempting weight loss again, 159.5 (150s woohoo!). My first mini-goal is 158, as it knocks me out of the obese catergory, it's 10 lbs lost on 3FC and 15 lbs lost overall. 1.5 lbs in a week is totally doable! IF I really work at it...

So I need some help! I need some buddies! If you have a goal, any goal (weight loss, inch lost, OP, exercise minutes, etc) for New Year's, come post it and let's work on it together this week. I see a lot of Christmas tickers with 2, 3, or 4 lbs left on them... it might be past Christmas but you could still make goal by New Year's!

Yay, I'm happy to see some life.

I just had the most unhealthy salad ever for Christmas lunch. Fried chicken, egg and a whole cup of dressing which I embarrassingly used half of. Oh yeah and a Long Island! Yay, Christmas in Asia. Dinner will be nachos because they are my boyfriends favorite. We make them with cheese, salsa and bean so the actual dip part is not so bad, it's the tortilla chips that kill me. I'll try my best count my chips and keep them under 20 (which is under 300 calories of chips--probably 450 for my whole meal then).

School is out of session for a few weeks but I still have to go in for half-days at work. My plan is to workout maybe 20 minutes before work AND 30-60 minutes after work. Lots of variety. AND Count Calories! Ugh, I stop doing that and I can tell I get waaaaaaayyy off plan.

Man I really want to meet this goal! I'd love to say 2008 was the last time I was obese. That would be swell!

I want to be a consistently out of the 170's by 2009! I have seen 169 about once a week for the last 3 weeks. I don't want to see any number higher than 169 in 2009, so that is my goal.

I am recommitting to the 30DS and I am counting my calories, and drinking a buttload of water. WE CAN DO THIS!

PS I am also committing to 1 hour of exercise each day. I have planned my schedule so I can do 30DS in the morning and then I can do it again at night if I feel up to it, or another form of exercise at night, for a total of 1 hour a day. I am moving next weekend so I have set aside the days that I definitely will not be able to work out, but I've also considered the packing and moving boxes as my exercise for those 2 days. I'm so excited about this because from January 2nd until the 10th I will be away from my husband as he finishes up his work here. So from now until then it gives me about 30 exercise sessions- if I wanted to I could do the full 30DS! (I'm not counting on it since it is such a workout, but I know that any form of exercise will be great!) For my evening workouts I have pilates DVDs, some Denise Austin DVDs and some other easy to do workouts for at home. I think it's a realistic plan and I"m excited to see my results, and for my husband to see me on the 10th of Jan, with (hopefully) a bit more rockin' bod!

My main New Year's goal was originally to be out of the 200's by the time the new year came around. I highly doubt that is going to come true, since I have a good 8 more pounds to go before getting there.

But even so, my goals are to be proud of myself and all that I have accomplished so far and all that I hopefully will accomplish in the near future. I want to be out of the 200's by February. Once I hit 199, I hit two major milestones (onderland AND 50 lbs lost), so it will be a good day

Another major goal is to be at 189 or below by my 30th birthday (June 15th). I honestly cannot remember a time since probably middle school or the beginning of high school when I was at that low of a weight, and I want to be able to go out partying for my 30th birthday and start the next 30 years of my life as a whole new person!

Finally, I would love to be at goal by the end of 2009. It would be wonderful to be able to come up with goals for 2010 that revolve around maintenance and living a life I can be proud of

okay, I had reached my original new years goal (185 lbs) this week but after today I feel like I was pushed back again. So my new years goal is still to be under 185! I briefly flirted with 184 and I want to meet 184 again before I move on to 184's hotter friend 183.

I think we call this kind of rambling "holiday food poisoning"

Ok so my original goal for new years eve was to be in onederland...but since I reached that the other day I am going to have to say my new goal is to be out of the so called "obese" category which is like 197 something. HOpefully me eating some chips and ice cream (cheating) didn't totally put me off and push me higher then I was at. Gonna rock it out this week before I go out on New years eve!!

How's this for a setback: I'm totally sick today! booooo. My energy is gone but my appetite is still around. I'm trying my hardest to not eat too much but laying around makes me bored and I want to eat! But if I get up and move around, I feel like ****.

So it's bed and fruit today.... but I can see all the cookies and desserts my bf's family sent of for Christmas and they are whispering in my ears!

Anyone else more successful with your goal for the week?

My goal is 199 by New Year's, but if that doesn't happen at least I'll be there by my birthday on the 14th!

I'd like to lose 7lbs by my birthday on february 12th.

I won't be starting my diet properly till around the 8th of jan though - that's when i go back to university and will be cooking for myself and buying my own food - now my parents cook and buy all the things. But i will cut down on snacking in this time!

Then i'm going to Morocco on a charity hitch hike on the 20th march so i'd like to have lost 12lbs by then.
