I bake 5 dozen cookies every week to take to church.
I taste one to be sure they are OK.
I suggest next time take a tray of celery and carrot sticks.

I would just call the others out on not fulfilling their end of the rotation! It's wildly unfair for you to compensate for their not holding up their end, and then get made fun of! Tell that guy it's his turn next time you get together. :)

LOL, I love to cook, bake, grill, you name it. I still have a close relationship to food I just make things for OTHER PEOPLE now. LOL.

I love to bake as well :)

Its pretty much a weekend ritual for me...my way of relaxing. When my sister was living with me I'd make "breakfast muffins" because she never had time to sit down and eat a proper breakfast. This way I got my baking fix without having to eat them and she got her morning start.

I had a blast last night because its my turn to do office "Stickies" today - which is the office morning tea.

So - I made Tzatziki dip, sausage rolls and sushi and while at it made some banana and caramel pinwheel cookies for the BF :D

Tzatzki is greek yogurt, cucumber, and sometimes mint.

It's the white sauce that they put on a gyro! :)

It's one of those things everybody makes just a little bit differently :)

Here's the recipe use:

Combine all in a blender until smooth:

1 15-oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
6T water
3T lemon juice
2T tahini
1T extra-virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
plus I add:
1t cumin
S&P plus a pinch of cayenne

im very sensitive about my weight and what i eat. and i know that's my own problem, but i had a similar experience the other day.

had dinner with my father and boyfriend, i got a salad. it was big. i hadn't eaten since the early afternoon and it was about 10pm. and after i ate half of it, my dad says "whoa, i can't believe you put all that away"

i put my fork down and asked for a take out box for the rest. why do ppl have to say **** like that.
