  • so my size 14 jeans are falling off my butt but when i try to get into one of my older pairs of size 12s it's like...not pretty. i can get them up over my butt but buttoning them is not in the question.

i know the obvious solution to this is a belt, but i have no butt so even jeans with belts slide off my butt.

really, i guess this post has no purpose. but i guess if i can't complain about my jeans falling off/squeezing my fat into an explosion here, where can i?
  • I hate that feeling of uncomfort! One's to big, the other is too tight...where to go lol. I like it when I actually fit into a size perfectly...but really who's perfect. Soon enough you will be rockin the 12's girly
  • excat same problem here! I can totally sympathise. nothing fits. old size is too big and smaller size just doesn't quite fit.......yet
  • I am in the same boat as you! I do not own a pair of pants that fits at all at the moment. The ones I have , 32/31's are falling off, literally, but i went in to buy new ones, and I can't seem to breath in the 30's. jean limbo sucks. But its great motivation to me, because I will not buy another pair at 31, as I'm planning on loosing more weight and that seems like a waste.
  • my problem is that my butt is big and my waist is tiny so theres always a gap in the back lol
  • I'm in a nothing fits stage too! I'm really sick of too big pants that make me look bigger than I am.

Belting doesn't prevent the saggy crotch or the baggy butt, and it's bulky under my tops, giving me a stomach that sticks out a couple extra inches. Not too mention the way the waist band wants to ride higher than the belt in between the loops.

I'm having to wear double or triple socks with some of my shoes too.

My sister gave me some pants to tide me through. One pair fits, another is still too small, a third fits but the zipper is broken, and the rest were scary (high waist, tapered leg).

My skirts won't stay up any more. They ride down to that really frumpy calf length.

I noticed this morning that my sport bra isn't stopping the bouncing any more. Seriously, I ran Friday and it was fine. Tuesday, it's not.

Whew, guess I needed to vent a little

    But there is some good:

I'm wearing a fitted one-button jacket today. Bought it before I lost weight (but probably at lower than my high weight). Couldn't button it and the sleeves were tight. Fits great today!

I have an old, but hardly worn, velvet navy mock turtleneck that fits now (and probably will be too big next winter ).

In general, I'm doing better with tops than bottoms!

Although, I have a number of button front shirts that seemed to have no stage in between "buttons gapping in front" and "too big and hides my waist."

Same thing as me- well change *** with huge hips.
I have never found pants that fit, and I hate the pants gap.

Yeah, that gapping is the bane of my existence too, due to wide hips even though my butt is kinda on the flat side. Plus, there's just a lot of slope in my lower back even though it's not from my butt.

Actually, there was another pair of pants my sister gave me. They're snug but fit well - but the back waist sticks out about 3 inches I think!
  • Uggh. I hate the pants gap too. Lee and Paris Blues are the brands I have had the most luck with. Some Lee styles are somewhat fashionable. Several cuts of Paris Blues look fashionable. I find them at Kohl's Jr. Dept. What do you do?

Until now, compromise. But I don't want to do that anymore. I have had some luck with the brands that are offering a special "curvy" fit. I haven't tried a tailor, but may, once I'm buying permanent pants.
  • Julie, I agree with finding a tailor--when I get to goal I am going to do that too. I would rather have two pairs of jeans with a perfect fit than 15 pairs that are compromises.
  • I have no hips at all. Jealous? lol

Anyway I was in this stage just a few weeks ago, my 10's were getting too big and I didn't want to go spend money on 8's (I only like silver jeans and they're $40-$60 bucks a pop) because size 8 is not my goal size. I washed my clothes at the laundromat-which I normally do not- and I used the gigantic prison sized dryer. It gets sooo much hotter than your normal household dryers that they shrunk my jeans just enough to get me through! Maybe you should try that.
  • i too feel your pain. i am currently too small for my size 18 (16 US) black jeans and the size 16 (14 US) are too small still. le sigh.

In my experience, this works beautifully ... for about 2 hours
  • then they stretch back! lol
