Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I have often have busy, unpredictable days (which make it sometimes difficult to predict meals and exercise time). I have gastritis and ongoing stomach problems that limit my diet.
Following any specific plan: After trying WW and South Beach with slight success - I've decided to just develop healthy habits without labeling them or having something to "get off of" or "stop doing".
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am fed up with trying and failing. I want to be able to be happy in the mirror. I have my boyfriend 100% on board with my exercise and healthy eating too. No more "But I love you the way you are, you look amazing" crap. He is ready to make these lifestyle changes, and considering we spend a lot of our nights together, I will have someone to hold me accountable and keep me on track.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I am new to the concept of exercising on my own volition. I was a competitive dancer for 15 years - ballet/dance class for 20 hours a week kept me in shape (without me realizing it). I have trouble keeping with a constant workout routine because I am so used to the structure and personal instruction that dance provided. Coming to college and gaining about 30 lbs in 3 years without even recognizing the problem is a wake up call. I am about to turn 21 & want to turn my life around by taking exercise into my own hands and creating healthy habits now.
