Default I think I may yack... seriously...

Some really quick background- I hardly eat any meat. It just grosses me out, I'm not like a member of PETA or anything (and I don't have anything against PETA, just not my bag of tea) I'm just explaining that meat and I don't get along too well. The occasional chicken breast about does it for me. Fish, I can't get enough of. Pepperoni... I love. Why? I have no idea. The sodium probably, lol

So occasionally I get this really weird irrational craving for pepperoni. Not just any pepperoni- it has to be like the Subway kind. So today when my husband suggested Subway for lunch I was totally stoked because I had been having that little craving. Typically I get a veggie wrap there, but I haven't gone off plan at all this week so I decided why not get a Spicy Italian sub? (don't tell me how many calories that is, please... I'd rather not know... HAHA) So about half way through I literally felt like I was going to puke!

That was literally the most disgusting sandwich I've ever had. Before I started making these healthy choices and making my life a healthier one, I could have eaten a Spicy Italian any day of the week and twice on Sundays. (haha I've always wanted to use that expression...)

Anyway- since I haven't had one in like AGES, it literally made me gag and thinking how I used to eat that greasy nasty sandwich so often made me so sick!

It really made me happy to think that NOW, I am totally thrilled with a plain old veggie wrap over something so high in calories and fat, and so greasy and nasty. And I just had to share that little realization with the only people who will do a happy dance for me about it. HAHAHA

I did close to the same thing today. I decided to pack chips in my lunch and ate a ziploc sandwich bag full of fritos and i feel so incredibly sick to my stomach right now. Im mad that i did it but i suppose im glad that my body realizes i was gifing it junk. Any way good job to you for realizing it.

I used to love me a big greasy philly cheesesteak...
the last time I had one I couldn't believe I used to eat that crap on a weekly basis. You are so right, as we become healthier our bodies adjust and just cannot handle that crud anymore.

Oh wow. That will really help you to make good choices! I never had that particular sandwich... I don't even think they have it in the Dutch subways. I was always kind of partial to the Veggie DeLite (not really because of the calories but because it's their cheapest option... yes, I'm a cheapskate).

I can relate, I ate lots of chocolate this tuesday because I was very sad about boy trouble and thought I had deserved it. For a long time I haven't felt so bloated and greasy. And it wasn't like it was bad chocolate, or very much of it (no more than 100 gr).
