Diet Root beer

It seems to get me through the evenings when I want to snack.

What calorie free / very low foods/drinks help you through that time right before bed?

Usually I have a cup of tea, or no fat cocoa, but diet root beer seems to be hitting the spot!

i'm all about some low cal hot cocoa, too.

Diet any pop.
But I think I might die of cancer if I keep going through it the way I have been. I bought a 12-pack of Diet Pepsi and it was gone in three days. I'm drinking 4+ cans a day. :o

Oh I love diet root beer! I actually bought a 2 liter today:) Sometimes when I need something at night I drink sleepy time tea or have a bag of 100 calorie popcorn. I got a free sample of Orval Redenbacher's Lime and Salt popcorn and it was really tasty. I know it sounds weird but I swear it was good:) I'm also a fan of kettle corn. Sweet and salty....you can't go wrong!

Jelb - I had 2 diet Pepsis today, love them.

And I just finished off a glass of this wonderful diet root beer.... oh so yum.

But... we're loosing weight...

Do you get headaches? I did some reading up, headaches seem to be the biggest side effect. I know I do sometimes.

Brandy - I love 100 popcorn packs! The lime & salt flavor, had it on chips -not so bad :) I shall now try it on popcorn! yay

I like to eat popcorn before bed!

frozen fruit bars. they average around 70 calories each and are sooooo good.

I generally try to stay away from things with artificial sweeteners, but every once in awhile I may have a diet soda. (like tonight *ahem*)

When I'm home I like to cook popcorn on the stove and drizzle a bit of olive oil. MMMM:D

In the dorms though I don't have many options, so basically once I'm done eating for the day I try to stay away from the food places on campus. And I drink A LOT of water.

Diet Pepsi has been my friend lately. I am a huge Dr Pepper freak, but I HATE Diet Dr Pepper. Diet Pepsi always squelches my need for something sweet. If I really want a soda, I go grab a Diet Pepsi.

I have read so many posts of people saying they love low calorie hot chocolate...I am intrigued. Next time I go grocery shopping, I am going to find some. Sounds delicious!

I always get the worst late-night munchies. If I absolutely can't fight the urge to snack, I'll steal a piece of cheese. That always hits the spot!! Sargento has a Mozzarella light string cheese that's 50 calories that I loooove and Land O' Lakes has a low-fat CobyJack cheese that's divine! OoO I could go for one now...haha!

Also, Chocolate Silk is amazing when I have a late-night sweet tooth!

i usually drink hot tea or low cal or sugar free hot chocolate. i had to stop drinking diet soda because the chemicals in diet pop make my stomach all queasy.

Ohhh I am so in love with Diet A&W Root Beer also!!!!! It's the only diet soda that doesn't taste diet....well at least to me!

Every once in a while I buy PickWick Green Iced Tea. It's only 30 cals or so for 100 ml. But it's kind of counterproductive, because I tend to chug the entire packet of 1.5 L in one evening.

PrettyPaula 12-04-2008 12:02 PM

diet coke or mango juice heavily diluted with water is my goto... i eat dinner around 7.30pm anyway so i dont suffer with evening munchies, but on the drive home from work i struggle, so i tend to drink a diet red bull... eep!

garstar 12-04-2008 12:07 PM

Diet redbull!

Calorie free?
