Hey everyone,
I've been complete MIA around here throughout November and much of October, but I'm back now! My diet and exercise commitments fell way down my list of priorities because of work and school stress, but I'm happy to report that I haven't been going totally binge-crazy either. I just haven't been working out as I should or being AS CAREFUL about food as I'd like to.
The good news is that unlike 2006 and 2007, when I actually gained a full 10 - 15 lbs in November because of work stress, I am more or less the same size I was in September -- I can still fit in my jeans, which I couldn't be this time in 2006 and 2007, so that alone feels like something of a success. Also, I had a serious back pain problem throughout early November and it was often simply too painful to exercise. But that seems to not be an issue anymore (yay!).
So, I'm recommiting (again) now that things should slow down for me enough to bump diet and exercise back up the priorities list. So, my goals For December:
1. Exercise 1300 minutes
2. Work more cardio into my exercise routine
3. Resistance train 4 times a week
4. Keep a low-carb diet; fewer than 70g's of carbs a day
5. Track my calories and carbs online
6. I also want to try to plan my meals in advance, so I know precisely what I will be eating at least a day ahead of time, but as I've never been that organized a person, that goal and goal #5 above will prove challenging.
and
7. Get my husband on a diet and help him develop an exercise program!

I wondered where you went.
