Default Post Thanksgiving weigh in. :(

I gained 4 pounds!!!!!!

How is that even possible?? I had been 152 then was down to 150 on Wed and Thursday I ate a LOT but not nearly as much as I used to eat!! :/ Yesterday I stayed OP so I thought today I'd be down a little but I only went down 8 ounces. Bleh!!!!

Should I cut calories a bit furthur till I'm back down?

No, you don't need to. If you ate a lot, then you are carrying extra water weight. Don't crash diet now. You just need to give your body time to expel the water weight & you'll be fine. You'll be back down in no time. I was up 2.4 & I may not be back down on Monday, but maybe next Monday. And that's ok. Drink lots of water & stay OP & you will be fine.

A bit of that weight is probably just all the extra food and water still in your system, which will eventually leave. I think you'll be fine if you just go back on your plan as normal. If you only overate that one day, I doubt you could have gained more than one lasting pound (actual fat pound), that is unless you ate something like 10,000 calories.

You'll be just fine, just go back to doing what you do!

Thanks chicas!! I'm going to be very careful tomorrow to stay totally OP and try to eat lots of fiber rich foods and lean protein.

Water water water, and low sodium v8 juice will help you feel full and give you fiber etc too.

Good luck, I'm sure we're all in the same boat right now- at least I am!

I'm SOOO right there with you. Me and my water bottle hung out all day today. We even went and saw both our friends Mr. Treadmill and Mr. Elliptical this afternoon.

Weigh in day isn't until Thursday for me though. Hopefully I don't end up with my jaw on the floor.
