  • We're going out of town today, and I hauled my butt out of bed at 6 am to make sure I got my workout in. I'm taking the dvd with me so I can do it at my parents too. 6am on a Saturday, the kids weren't even awake yet.

    In case anyone was losing sleep over the the rank smell in my house, it turned out to be the trash. I didn't have to do ANY cleaning! Yay!! Put off for yet another day. (bad smells and physically tripping over crap is really my only motivator for cleaning ...What? I have better things to do! )
  • raw - I hate cleaning. I try to maintain cleanliness, so I don't have to spend all day Sunday cleaning, but it isn't that easy.

    I was in the middle of Shred, when my sis came by and wanted to hang out with me. Ugg, I was sweaty and just wanted to finish the workout. I ended up hanging out with her and I'll resume Shred later.
  • I'm sick. Ugh. No working out, and not much eating either. I haven't lost weight, but i haven't gained. I've been drinking massive amounts of liquids since my throat hurts and its all i can stomach. I hope by tomorrow i'm feeling better so i can get a workout in.
    Sorry i don't have time to reply to all of you personally, i'm going to muster up some energy to make my kids dinner and then lay back down for a bit. Hope you all are doing well, it sounds like it!

    Raw- I'm glad you've found the source of the stinkiness. I always leave random things to rot in my room...I don't know why..I only realise it until it is really moldy and discusting haha..but actually I've been pretty clean these last weeks
    Robot- good job on terminating your shred after the interruption
    Wantingtolose- I hope you get better

    As for me ate pretty well today, I walked to my grandmas(about 2 km) and I played in a pool for 45 min with my little cousin..Tomorrow I definitely need to start the shred
    I'm afraid I won't lose for monday. I don't have a digital balance so I don't know the decimales when I weigh myself and I think since it's only been since tuesday that I've started that I won't have lost a complete pound. I should get myself a digital balance...to be more precise.
    Oh well, I'll try to make sunday the catch up day....I hope to do my first day of 30DS, jog 20 minutes, ab work(10 min)..maybe bike a little(to somewhere close)...I need to do homework so obviously I'll be willing to do anything to avoid it..so I might make it

  • I was down to 187 this morning! Puts me down 2 for the week! I can't believe it. I haven't been that good. I'm thinking shooting for 1600 is my magic number. I'm finally losing on it. I can't remember the last time I lost 2# in a week!!

    The BF and I will be all over the place for Thanksgiving and I love to have a Thanksgiving for just the two of us. So we did it yesterday. Nothing too bad: turkey, gravy, yukon gold potatoes and rolls. I was at 1400 for the day yesterday. A little low.
  • I'm down 2lbs too! Of course i was sick yesterday, but i was still able to eat over 1200 cals. I've been around 1600 all week too, perhaps it is the magic number I'm so excited if i can manage to lose 2 lbs next week, i'll be in the 170's Woo hoo.
    What are everyone's thanksgiving plans? My mom and brother are driving up, and i'm cooking the works. Its the only meal we will eat all day, and i'm planning on working my arse off the next few days.
  • I live in Canada, so thanks giving isn't a problem, however next weekend it's end of session and I have major parties to attend. That means a lot of alcohol so yeah I'll just eat less and exerxcise during the day.

    My plans... goodness... I'm having three more Thanksgivings! My extended family, my immediate family, and his immediate family. A three day extravaganza.
  • Hello Everyone!! I didn't do any exercise yesterday and today I have managed to get in day 8 level 1 30DS and 30 minutes on the treadmill, so that puts my total at 260/356. I am off tonight so I am hoping to get another 30DS and atleast 20min on the treadmill before noon tomorrow!

    My parents are coming to visit all week next week for Thanksgiving, so I am a little nervous about getting my exercise in. I know I will be able to get the treadmill in but I am not sure if I will have the alone time to do 30DS. My mom is dieting also, so staying on plan with my eating shouldn't be too bad. We are making healthier side dishes for Thanksgiving day so that we can fill our plate with the veggies and salad and then just add a little bit of turkey and dressing.
  • Woohoo on this weightloss, ladies. Exercise is getting a little harder to do since we're getting closer to Thanksgiving (AKA stuff my face with food fest). We can do it though. Just have to be smart about how much we eat and what we eat. I plan on doing Shred a little later since today is insanely hectic.

    im canadian aswell but i am going to pitsburg from thursday - sunday and will be eating out every meal but hopefully i can find some healthy iteams onthe menu.
