Wink It's all about ME! *insert evil laughter here*

I know I have another thread here listed "Sweet Tooth among other things..." but now I'm not craving my sugar at all so... yea... thought I'd start a new topic about my struggles, losses, gains and whatever else...

Yesterday (seeing as it's after midnight here) I went from 302 to 298.7 and my mini goal on Wii Fit is 298.5 or something so so far so good. I have to get there by the 12th. Then I get to make another 2 week goal... what do you think I should go for?

Also, I think that having to wait almost a month for the ability to get a signature is bogus... a week or 10 days would be more bearable...

Yeah, it can be a giant pain in the butt waiting for that signature... You'll have it in no time, just stick around!

Hmm. Well, since you'll definitely have made your mini goal by the 12th, let's assume you'll be at 298.5 at that point... usually about 2 lbs a week is a good healthy weight-loss number, but if you're just starting out, oftentimes you can lose a bit more. So I'd say 4-5 lbs isn't a bad goal for another 2 week time period. It's a much better idea to make a smaller goal, and be happy and proud of yourself for making it (or even beating it!), than make a bigger goal you may not be able to reach, and feel frustrated and sad if you don't!

Welcome to the forums, darling! Stick around and post lots, it does wonders for your motivation!

Waiting to post is a pain., but keeps spammers at bay. Do the best you can with your diet and the weight will come off.

Yea, I hope so...

I am doing ok so far except for my sodium intake... how the **** do you get away with under 2300 mg of sodium when everything there is is saltlick? haha

So far I have lost about 5.2 pounds or something...

I find that sodium is my hardest thing to try to keep under goal. Even in things that are supposed to be "low sodium", there is a bunch of sodium. Sometimes, sugars can be high too throughout the day. But if the sugars are coming mainly from fruits, I don't worry about it too much.

sodium is my tough spot too, I can be on plan for everything else and the sodium is always through the roof. I drink alot of water to flush it through my system faster though and it seems to work because I rarely have huge weight spikes or water retention. Mmmm, a salt lick sounds good right now...with some tequila and a lime...

I really don't want to triple post but...

What do you do about keeping away from sodium? Especially in Soy Sauce... I just had over 15,000 mg of sodium and mostly just from the soy sauce I had today.

Arthwen, what calorie counter/HRM did you get? I've been snooping around the internet for one, but I have no idea what I'm looking for.
