  • January is an important time for a lot of weight losers (ha!) you know, with New Years Resolutions and all.

Well, it's double important for me because my birthday is at the end of the month. So I've decided to make a mini goal to have lost 15 pounds by my birthday, which is the 28th. That gives me almost 3 full months to reach my goal. I think it'll be the first year that I go into the New Year not feeling like I have to recommit myself to weight loss, because I will already be well on my way.

My game plan is to keep doing the 30 Day Shred, and to incorporate more cardio through out the day. And to eat healthily within my calorie range (I'm still figuring out what that is, haha!)

Who's with me?! Post your mini goal and game plan, all right?!

  • I want to be 160 by New Years. I'll be in a new town with a new attitude and I want my body to be on the same page as I am!
  • Alright well, I'm currently not on track for my November goal but I think that if I just put in a bit more effort and then start the 30-day shred during winter break I can get back in line for my goal.

So I want to be at 146 by New Years... which is about 15 pounds away. Think I can do it? I hope so!!!

  • I want to be at least at my goal weight by then. Fit in my goal dress. Have determined what weight I really want to be (65 kg was kind of a shot in the dark... "it's a round number, about 10 kgs down, in healthy BMI range... let's go for it!").
  • My birthday is January 17! I want to be 175.
My I'll start 30DS January 1. Till then, exercise 5 times a week!
  • I intend to be 160 lbs by New Years. (or 165... depending on how it goes)

Plan is drinking enough water, eating right, no sugary cave-ins, JM 30 day shred and C25K.

    Woo Hoo!
  • My birthday is Jan 27th! I have a trip planned for early January, so my goal is to be under 200 lbs by then.. I think if I work really hard I can do it!

I am thinking about doing the 30Day shred in December, to gear up for my trip. If I'm not under 200 by the trip, then atleast before Jan 27th!

Good luck everyone, if we claim it, it will happen!

  • My goal is to be at 230 or at least in the 230's. Yeah, its lofty. But I believe that I can do it!
  • I don't want to put a number goal on January, because if I don't get to it, I'll feel like a failure, and I've come way too far to have that word associated with anything. BUT, I will:

    - CONTINUE my loss trend; I will not indulge over the Holidays and keep in mind that while it's cold outside, swimsuit season is just around the corner and it will be time to show off this new figure!

    - Remember how far I've come and what I looked like a year ago (No need to hide under hoodies and fleeces this winter!)

    - Keep active (snow doesn't mean laziness!)

    - And lastly, be extremely excited that I've gotten the GREATEST head start on a New Year's resolution to be healthy and fit- How cool is that?!?!
  • hopefully ill lose 10 pounds by new years *fingers crossed*
  • Mango - those are the best goals, you go girl!!
I feel the same way, that's why I have already made a mental note not to be heart broken if it doesn't happen, just so long as I did my absolute best, that's all I could really ask for.

Thanks guys! I think these are all great goals!
  • I'd like to lose 10 lbs by January. Although just making it through the holidays staying on track and not gaining is a goal in itself.
  • By January 1... I want to be 130lbs and feeling more toned.

I'm going to keep up with calorie counting, going to the gym for classes 2-3x per week and doing the 30 day shred...and of course with the help of you chickies
  • My January mini goal is to be as close to 180 as possible. For the same reason as Mango683, I'm not going to put an exact number on it so I don't feel like a failure if I don't reach it. However, I'm glad to say that for the first time my new years resolution will be to continue losing weight rather than starting to. I've lost weight before but for some reason I just stopped a month into it. Its been two months for me and I've been doing really well.

    No need to stop now.

And I would like to survive the holidays as well. LOL. I haven't come this far to let three days ruin it.
  • Shauna- Such an interesting point! It's literally two days, but a month long of parties and binging and endless indulgences that could potentially undo MONTHS of hard work. YIKES!
